The property has recently undergone a full programme of refurbishment respecting the houses history, offering period charm with modern style and comfort. This friendly 5 Star Luxury guest accommodation has the benefit of free on-site parking which is unique in the area considering the short walking distance to the main attractions Lake Windermere has to offer, also the surrounding mountains with spectacular scenery.Please note that a building near the hotel will be undergoing maintenance and renovation work from November 2009 - March 2010. The work will be carried out strictly between 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday so will not effect evenings or weekends.
