Pete's Restaurant. Nice size room
Room had mold in bathroom. Will stay again. Price was right as well as location. Ate in Pete's Restaurant twice. Great food and nice prices. The hotel and restaurant staff were the best.
The size of the rooms are very large. The restaurant and the prices are very reasonable.
The outside of the hotel appears very dated and run down. A lot of people hang around the hotel in the evening making it feel a little unsafe. The rooms are paper thin and the noise level is a bit loud.Winnemucca is really run down and in great disrepair. This hotel is no exception. If you are exhausted and in need of a stop over while traveling through Nevada, this hotel will meet your minimal expectations.
Decent price and clean rooms.
The casino smelled pretty bad (maybe a function of all casinos?), so I tried not to spend much time there except for when I had to check in and out.
The Winners has always been a choice of mine, it's in the middle of town and close to other restaurants and amenities. The convenience of the casino and restaurant just down stairs is always nice and the food quality is average to good.
The rooms are a little cramped but comfortable, probably not a place you could throw a party in, it's a place to sleep and fairly quiet.
The air conditioning was not turned on in the room and it was hot until about midnight. The room was extremely small. The water pressure was bad. The air conditioning was poor in the public areas also.It was a weekend so we paid xxx for a double room. The air conditioning was very poor. When I mentioned it to the clerk, she said it is that hot everywhere. Yes, obviously, but when you are paying for a motel, it is not unreasonable to expect a little better. I was extremely disappointed in the room and the motel as a whole. Part of the reason we stayed here was the food prices being advertised on the outside of the casino (4.99 all you can eat spaghetti.) That was only available on a certain day and the 1.99 biscuits and gravy, which we were not allowed to order to go.
A very basic room and yet spotless and very well maintained. Although in a casino with lots of smoke, the room, hallways and restaurant were kept smelling fresh.
Even though there were only a few steps to contend with to get to our first floor room, an elevator would have been very helpful as my 92 year old father struggled to get up the ramp and steps with his cane. I hope you will soon be installing elevators.
There wasn't anything that I really liked. It was just a room and it was worn and felt dirty.
That is was very old and worn and kind of stinky. This room was very old and needed to be updated. We only stayed one night so we held our breath and stayed. It seems like many of the hotels in Winnamucca were old there wasn't much to choose from. They should take some of the profits of gambling and use in to improve the rooms in the hotels. I will not stay there again.
For being by a casino (and for that matter just being in Nevada) it did not smell like smoke.
The beds were horrible and short sheeted.Tolerable for one night.
The rooms were ok for the money
The rooms were removed from the main casino and made it more difficult to get to dinner and breakfast
