Price was reasonable. Front staff seemed nice enough.
Room was ratty. Carpet had large stains all over it. Room door appeared not to have been cleaned in awhile; there was dried brown stuff on it and a spot like someone spit and left it.
It liked that there was a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee maker, also a hair dryer available in the room.
It was pretty noisy with door slamming and loud talking in parking area enough to wake anyone. That isn't really the motels fault I guess, but people that don't care that others are trying to sleep at 10:pm after a long drive. The hotel was nice, fairly clean for the price, and comfortable. I didn't like that the maid came in and made up my room when I was gone, I didn't put out the maid service sign, so she should not have entered my room. But other then that, all was fine. The hotel clerk was friendly. No there was not continental breakfast there but it had a coffee maker which is wonderful, I hate going out early to get coffee somewhere. This was so important. Good thing I took my own coffee though. I had to make a coffee filter out of a napkin but it worked out OK.
It is both affordable and convenient.
Faulty light fixture by wash basin. We wanted a place to sleep for the night. It provided that plus a pool. We are a retired couple on a limited budget, so 'luxury resorts' are out of the question. We have stayed here before.
The temperature outside was 110. We spent over an hour in the pool that evening, it was great.
There is need for some maintenance work.It was a good value for a very reasonable price. I have stayed in classier places, but at a much higher price.
Location, right in the heart off Yuma. The windows were double paned so no sound from the outside ever entered our room. The sheets were so crisp and clean and the bed was a travelers dream. All rooms have a small refrigerator, coffee maker and micro.
I wish we had known about the fridge and the micro as we would have brought snacks. They also had a Continental breakfast with O.J., danish bananas and apples. The owners and staff were all friendly and bent over backwards to insure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.Roomy, clean, comfortable, quiet and with a bed to die for. The price was definitely great, since our visit we made our second trip and returned once again, anytime we are in Yuma we will stay at the Torch Lite. Oh, by the way don't forget your swimming suit as they have a spacious pool. The owners are helpful, we requested extra coffee and had no problem. When we arrived we were booked for an upstairs room, they rescheduled a downs...
Nothing goodIf you value cleanliness don't stay here
The room was amazing price was perfect I plan on going more often
I wouldn't change a thingI love the spacey room the view was amazing I line that I had acres to local restaurants and stores
The wifi worked great for about 2 hours, then after hours, it's almost like they just shut it off. HORRIBLE!!!!Old, needs remodeling. Pillows were so flat they almost were non-existent. Beds very uncomfortable, even after I was assured the ones in my room were soft. I would hate to see the hard ones! Also didn't like the fact that half the other guests had the room chairs outside their rooms, all sitting around, smoking and drinking beer. It was like a bad trailer park scene.
