Located between Kaprun and Zell am See, the Gasthof Eschbacher is the ideal Austrian pension in Piesendorf to enjoy winter hiking paths and cross-country ski runs close to the Hohe Tauern National Park. But Gasthof Eschbacher is also a perfect starting point for ski adventures in the surroundings: the glacier ski region Kitzsteinhorn, the skiing area Schmittenhöhe, the Maiskogel, the ski circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm, the skiing region Mittersill-Hollersbach, Kitzbühel, or the nearby Nagelköpfel. In the summer, do not miss out on wonderful hiking tours or sightseeing trips to beautiful Austrian towns such as Salzburg. And after a busy day, enjoy the specialties of the local cuisine together with a glass of excellent wine in the on-site restaurant, or spend the rest of the evening in a relaxed atmosphere at the full-service spa. Guests have access to free wireless Internet, free parking, and a free ski shuttle.
Excellent services, rooms where new and clean, enough space. Very friendly staff and you can enjoy a good meal in the restaurant.
The cooking smell in that penetrated the corridors and the room a little at night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful; the room was well appointed and very comfortable; the food was superb and overall the hotel provided an excellent standard of service.
I found nothing that I did not like except the need to leave at the end of our stay!
Family run with very welcoming owners. Rooms are quite small but very clean and quiet, some have balconies. Good restaurant serving local dishes and pizzas. Parking available on the street outside. Situated in a village but only 5 miles from Zell am See and Kaprun ski areas.
A small, friendly hotel in a quiet village setting. Easily accessable to Kaprun and Zell an Zee. Lovely walks round and about and near to the fun park where we had a great day
Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were great and very helpful. The location was a short drive from many snowboarding resorts.
