Whitten Inns are operated by Larry and Mary Ann Whitten. Mr. Whitten has been in the Hospitality business for over 35 years. His experience started with the Hilton Hotel Corporation in Washington D.C. at the Washington Hilton Hotel. Mr. Whitten quickly learned that personalized "Guest Service" was by far the most important ingredient in guest satisfaction. Mr. Whitten has managed properties from 56 rooms to 1200 rooms. After seven years with the Hilton Corp., Mr. Whitten formed his own Management Company. Mr. Whitten served in the U.S. Marines and attained the rank of Sergeant.
