The price changed based on booking. It was supposed to be 86 euro and ended up to be 228 because of insurance. I chose insurance on the booking and the agent said i didnt. so seemed weird. I was too tired to argue. The car had a bad clutch and really going go up hill with out a running start. again i was too far and too tired to argue. I just dealt with it. The two guys were really helpful. The best I've ever seen at a car rental desk. The woman was extremely disrespectful, with me and especially with other customers. She should not work with people. Not a good advertising for the company2.8 Poor

Firstly, I had wrote in to say I'd prefer a Mercedes or anything except for an alfa romeo and what I got in the end was an alfa. Also, I wasn't informed that I needed 2 credit cards for deposit ; one visa and one mastercard which I did not prepare beforehand which resulted in so much trouble and delay when I picked up the car at almost 12am. Utterly disappointed.2.0 Poor

The people did a quick check on the vehicle and processed the return quickly.Cons:
We left a very important item (an heirloom glass jar filled with sand) in the center console of the vehicle and when we called the drop-off location they were very rude about helping us find the item. Then we called back and they still were not helpful. It seems they did not look through the vehicle thoroughly and we have still not been able to recover the item.2 locations in Naples

I made a reservation for a Ford focus or similar sized vehicle. Sixt only had a Jeep Renegade available for me - a full sized SUV. I was driving on the Amalfi Coast thr next ř days and purposely booked with them to get a smaller vehicle when navigating the small roads there. I was told take it or leave it when I arrived at the check in counter9.2 Wonderful

I processed my car rental to start at the Naples airport as we were flying in that morning. My reservation said pick up at airport, but the address was to the Naples train station. We ended up liking Fiats...everything else was completely dominated & overshadowed by a level of customer service difficult to describe...Cons:
Let's be clear the car, a Fiat, was an outstanding auto, but--- How this company gets away with its level of customer service is stunning...to start the up-selling at time of pick-up, no matter how friendly, is manipulative & simply a money grab; but then---we had a terrifying incident where we forced into a wall by an oncoming motorcycle who appeared to do it on purpose; car was scraped & dented; repeated phone calls to Europcar went to voice mail with NO response to messages; repeated emails were ignored except 2 weeks later we got their standard "difficult question, need time to answer" response, which they always eventually send no matter the question; [I'm still waiting for a response to one I sent in January!!]......of course there was no one in the office to talk with when we dropped the car off in Florence, but I think they will blame that on our "early" flight time, 9:55am...and today we got the bill: after renting the car for a month for 221 euros plus liability insurance, [plus other difficult-to-understand charges], our final bill is 1708 euros...it is going to take longer than our vacation lasted just to figure out the bill!!6.0 Okay

Cons:
Being charged 300€ + 90€ processing fee?! For a 2cm scratch the car had a much bigger scratch when we picked it up and the door would not close properly. So Europcar is not spending the funds it receives to repair their vehicles. And a clearly arbitrary system of damage fees.One location in Naples
