With Valentine’s Day around the corner and many travelers looking for a quick getaway with their sweetheart, we took a look at the top hotel destinations for the romantic holiday weekend. For those anti-Valentine’s Day readers, don’t worry – we’ll make this quick.
Not surprisingly, lovebirds are flocking to New York, Las Vegas and Paris this year (the top 3 spots, respectively). We also saw the greatest increase in hotel searches for Houston, which jumped 284% Valentine’s Day weekend, compared to the weekends before and after. If savoring BBQ doesn’t appeal to you, you can also catch the NBA All-Star events taking place in Houston that same weekend.
