If you’re following along, we recently announced our new KAYAK office in Miami and now, we’re excited to welcome Hong Kong into the fold, making it our eighth office. Our newest regional hub will be exclusively in service to our growing Asia-Pacific (APAC) business.
KAYAK operates 12 sites in APAC (Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Singapore, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand) and business is growing hand over fist.
Which isn’t surprising because research has shown that travelers in APAC are spending way too much time planning travel – in fact, travelers in Hong Kong are spending 44% more time on travel planning than they were 10 years ago.
So, we’re doubling down and opening up a regional hub to fuel our growth and introduce as many travelers as we can to KAYAK.
Why Hong Kong? When our top execs asked team APAC where they wanted to be headquartered, they chose Hong Kong for its talent pool, entrepreneurial vibe and close proximity to other KAYAK key markets in the region. #TravelProblemSolved
Our office space is in Central – which is a hotbed for innovation and full of tech start-ups, making it a great place for us to put down roots.
