The room smelled nice when you walk in. The bed was nice and the sheets were clean!
I hear they don't use bleach which is an issue with me because the toilet was stained and makes me feel like it doesn't get the cleaning it needs.
The Staff is very friendly! Made sure you had anything you needed.
It is the best Super 8 in Alexandria as it is not a motel.
Though it is near airport, there is nothing around it but convenient stores. It was an excellent price and much better than what I thought. The front desk agent greeted me upon arrival and personally escorted me to my room to ensure I was happy with it!
I liked that the air conditioner worked. The lady working at the desk upon check out was very kind.
Most of the staff was rather rude and acted like I was bothering them. The bathroom was never clean and our room was only cleaned the first day. The breakfast was very minimal.
Dirty tub, dirty sink, price
That it has a pool, free breakfast, a refrigerator and microwave in the room. And that the cable TV had a lot of channels.
The A/C wasn't cooling properly. It was too hot in the room. The floor needed to be vacuumed more thoroughly. Wireless internet was very slow and although a passcode was given, it wasn't required to access the wi-fi.
The rooms where nice for a super 8
The hotel didn't have an elevator the breakfast was limited
Room needed vacuuming
Faucet in the bath tub was not working. The water from the shower to faucet was not working.Continental breakfast was not good and lack of eggs, pastries etc. Coffee was lousy.
It didn't have roaches.
Rather rude attendant warmed up after a bit. Cable TV didn't work. Toilet had urine stains. Bathroom floor was sticky, and contained used, unfolded washcloths. The towels were ratty. The coffee machine had a used coffee filter in it. Never again.
Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was quick and enough choice for a continental breakfast,
Large rooms newly remodeled.
A little off the beaten path.
Was close to major interstate. I-49 and 4 miles to downtown.
Price to high for winter or off season time. Only Cracker Barrel and 3 fast foods unless you drive to downtown. Some stains in carpets and smell to upstairs entrance and hallway. Like skunky smell.
It was very clean. They definitely don't pay attention to corners. The bathroom floor wasn't very clean. It looked like it's just moderately cleaned.
Front door stuck in closed position While staff were outside. One staff member ask my 16 year old son to walk across the street and buy alcohol 4 them.
Easy access to I-49.
Furniture and Appliances are outdated. For e.g. Microwave and Refrigerator looks so old that you don't feel storing or cooking the food. Chair was torn.
The staff was very rude. We asked for some linens, waited about one hour, no one showed up to bring us the towels. We had to go get them ourselves. The beds are horrible, our kids even got bed bug bites! Awful place to stay! Will never come back.
Close to the highway and near restaurants and gas stations. Cost was reasonable at----
Too close to train tracks and the pool is tiny and located in the parking lot adjacent to the chevron next door. Laundry room only had one of each machine.
This location DOESNT have an elevator, and the appliances ( microwave and refrigerator) were very outdated and raggedy!
Bigger pool would be nice
Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Large rooms.
Carpet in hallways and room dingy and worn. Furniture rather old. New fixtures on wall in bathroom but no paint where old fixtures were moved.
Monica, the front desk employee. We had a problem with the bed arrangement; needed 2 beds and only one had been reserved. Since it was with Priceline, she said she was 'locked in'. Somehow she made it work with no additional charge. Very appreciative!
Although we weren't traveling with pets this time, we do frequently. This hotel doesn't allow pets.
Attention to detail was lacking. The bed skirt had white dried on substance on it. The carpet had a red stain on it.
At least there were no bedbugs.
Cleanliness was a big letdown. Stained bedspread; makeup stains on towells. Towells were threadbare. Toilet bowl needed a good cleaning. Looked like it hadn't been swabbed out in a month.
Nice hotel for the price.
The night front desk workerwas not helpful. Requested a double bed since Priceline stated that room would accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. She stated that you get what we want you get when you book through Pricelice-needs PR training.
Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful. Mostly quiet and located very close to I-49.
Would have liked more options for breakfast. Also, gym area was closed while we were there, but hotel staff directed us to use the gym at the Comfort Suites next door.
Location was near area I was hosting a party.
Near train track. Train went by at least 3 times.
The room was decent. I was expecting less, but for a Super 8 it was pretty decent. The front desk clerk was not very personable. No smile or welcome when we came in. The TV volume wasn't working and they came and fixed it right away. The breakfast was ok.
The breakfast was just ok no meat or eggs only waffles, yogurt, cereal and apples
The room was really spacious and the bed was comfortable.
The breakfast in the morning did not offer as much as other continental breakfasts. The room could have a been a little more clean but it was acceptable.
The television and comfort of the bed
The train that came through every few hours, the blanket was stained with what appeared to be semen. The bathroom had rusted chrome, there was a nasty wooden sitting board in the shower. It was not the best bathroom. Ugh!
Plenty of room for a Pack N Play (play pin) for our 1 year to sleep in. The appliances worked great and the couch was very handy for guests coming to visit after dinner.
Easy on-off the interstate. There's a Cracker Barrell and a McDonalds within walking distance. The facility is very clean. We've stayed here before and will stay again.
The rooms were dirty feeling icky carpets both times I stayed there and the bathroom floor in the last room was cracked and dirty I actually cleaned it myself
Our stay was really good will go back to this one. Nice location
Poor custumer service Management refused to give refund on reservation. Husband was ill and couldn't make trip. Manager said we would have to fax him doctor's statement before he would give refund. It's really hard to find businesses who genuinely care about a person rather than the money.
This hotel stay was horrible you could actualy hear people in another room through the walls.
