Pros. Unique
Cons. Couldn't check in till 5pm. Just spent 30 hrs traveling very unpleasant
Pros. Beautiful building. Very helpful staff. Lovely mezzanine in bedroom.
Cons. The stairs up to the bedroom had no hand rail.Lots of renovations going on in building.
Pros. Room was very clean and spacious.
Cons. The heaters are a bit old and noisy.
Pros. I love the fact that the staffs are super friendly. Very nice hotel and nice high ceilings. We got a free upgrade too. I love it so much I def want to come back! I love everything about it. Nothing to complain about. the bathroom is so nice and beds too.
Cons. Only downside is that they are currently doing constructions and wish we would have been informed. It gets very loud during the day but aside from that it's all good!
Pros. The staff was great. The room was comfortable. The restaurant was excellent; good food, nice atmosphere.
Pros. The Arena is a great hotel, we spent most of our time in our room, though the lobby and grounds are impressive. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very nice, the sitting area perfect. We had floor to ceiling windows which overlooked a courtyard and that really made the room. A few nice amenities included an electric tea kettle to make coffee and tea with, a safe, a fridge and blowdryer. When we needed a converter, the front desk had one for us. The front desk also called cabs for us which came quicklly. Nice quiet neighborhood with easy access.
Cons. I didn't realize the room was two floors with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs, not ideal for middle of the night trips to the restroom. There was no handrail on the steep and winding staircase. While housekeeping came everyday, they did not sweep the wood floors which I would have expected. One wall of the bathroom is the wall of the sitting area and is all black glass, which at first seems opaque, but really isn't. When it was just me and my husband in the room, no problem, but when we had visitors, it was a bit awkward.
