The hotel is in Amstelveen, and the town is nice
Really expensive. No bathrooms in the room, and the shared ones are unclean all the time, we stayed there. Very noisy at night. Far from the tram station if you want to go to Amsterdam
Very friendly and attentive staff. Very good food in the restaurant.
It was cold in the rooms.
Not mmuch. Noisy
Plenty of free parking near the Hotel
Noisy Pub like atmosphere. Shared bathrooms and toilets. Surely this is unacceptable in this day and age. Paid 66 euro's a night, and had no problem securing a 4 star property for 55 Euros, with an ensuit bathroom and toilet
The hospitallity, breakfast and diner and the staff
We were treated very cordially and well when we arrived, a taxi was ordered for our return to the airport and the wake-up call was as needed.
No air conditioning, a minor problem. More seriously, we had to pay what seemed exorbitant and much higher than expected taxi fares from the airport to the hotel and returning. The return by a taxi man who said he does regular work for the hotel was even more expensive than coming. This effectively almost doubled the cost of the room. This made the hotel a poor option for our rest between planes.
The restaurant offered an interesting range of nicely prepared food which was good value and the service was friendly and efficient.
The room was very noisy, the TV remote did not work and I would have preferred an en-suite bathroom.
there was breakfast included, so the double room was cheeper than rooms in other hotels...
the music was very loud, the bar was open till 3am, so we didn't sleep well...
I chose the hotel due to its proximity to the Schipol airport as I had an early morning flight.
The hotel has a very busy bar and restaurant downstairs and guests have to walk through the smoke filled bar to reach the reception. They can very well do without this uncomfortable welcome! Other than that the room was ok. Though there was a phone in the room, I had no idea how to reach the reception.
