Staff was great
The assistance and advice of the Front Desk staff.
Cost of beer at the bar and the lack of a shower 'curtain' which made showering difficult.
the bed was not smelling fresh hence not easy to sleep
Nice room, clean, central
Internal costs were far too high. 8 euro for a small bottle of beer and almost 30 euro per head for breakfast is far too high. I have stayed in several five star hotels and none have had costs as high. I think the hotel is a good 4 star but hounded to do something about internal costs.
The hotel is in a relatively quiet spot and close to a metro station, so it's a good base for exploring Athens. Staff were polite and helpful. The rooftop pool is small, but a welcome retreat from the heat of the city - especially for families with children.
The "family" room is really just a standard twin-bed room, so for a family of four the beds were on the small side.
Clean room, bathroom; Good standard in general.
Room was relative small, Mini-Pool only on the roof;
Family Room was comfortable with two double beds. Conveninent to Metro station.
Too far from main areas of interest in Athens. Neighborhood did not have interesting and easily accessible restaurants for dinner or breakfast. Most disappointing was that pool closes at 7pm. Although other hotels have similar closing times, when we stayed at the Marriott is stayed open. In August when it is hot and light out until 9pm it does not make sense to close the pool at 7pm.
Very good room with place for a whole family. Very comfortable beds and good design. Located near a very nice garden resturant up the street on the back side with a playground for the children.
The pool close a little to early for the kids.
We visited Athens City Centre and with just a 2 stop metro ride this was great. The cost of the metro was just 1 Euro each way and they were on time and very regular.
The price of the breakfast was extremely expensive so we ate in a small cafe close to the hotel which was really nice and reasonably priced.
Location and comfort
Hotel room was comfortable and recently rennovated. Free internet access at the business suite.
Unrealistic price for breakfast (27 Euro) and internet acces (20 Euro)
