Hyatt Atlanta Midtown is a new, boutique business hotel centrally located in Midtown, the 2nd largest business district in Atlanta. Hyatt is a 4 Diamond, full service property specializing in unique, personal experiences making business travelers feel welcomed, comfortable and efficient. Location is ideal as the hotel is next to public transportation, over 100 restaurants and bars, and the largest green space in Atlanta, Piedmont Park.
We were happy with the location and how quiet it was.
We did not like the cost and we were disappointed in the cleanliness. The room was not filthy by any sense of the word, but when we arrived in the room there was an empty coke bottle sitting out and we were missing soap for the sink. We stayed several days and one day the room did not get cleaned. The carpet needed vacuumed and the furniture was dusty.
The hotel's restaurant, Fork & Juniper, has great cocktails -- try one of their gin drinks.
The staff is always friendly and the rooms are great - comfy bed, modern, quiet, and an outstanding shower!
Hotel was modern and staff was incredibly friendly. I read previous reviews stating that the fire station was loud. I heard it once or twice, but I didn't find it to be a concern. The hotel provided ear plugs in the room for those that are light sleepers. We were attending a festival in Atlanta as we do every year. We haven't stayed that this location, but I definitely will again. For the money paid, the hotel stood up well against several other higher priced hotels we have stayed at in the area. It rained and they provided umbrellas for us to use during the festival as well.
There wasn't clearly marked hotel parking... we used the valet, which turned out to be somewhat comparable in price. Valet staff was very friendly and fast.
This is our second year booking a room at Hyatt Midtown for the Midtown Music Festival. It is a few blocks from MARTA Midtown Station. After checking in it is only a couple more blocks to Piedmont Park. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great location.
No complaints. Our stay was perfect!
Staff is super friendly and great restaurants around the area. Also, great gym/pool in the hotel and a beautiful park to rub.
Our room wasn't ready at check-in time and took an additional 20 minutes before we could get there
orbitz double booked us which caused ploblems I did not want to deal with
The parking is expensive
The room service coffee was terrible. Other food was fine.
Convience to Marta and Midtown staples
Air conditioning did not work well (we had it set on 40 the whole weekend, and it was like 70), pilliows were small and square and quite uncomfortable
I've always appreciated this hotel for the central location. It's perfect for doing anything in Atlanta. Polite staff
This is my first stay since the change from a Wyndham property to Hotel Midtown. What a disappointment. The state of repair and upkeep is deplorable. The fitness center is not secure and equipment is substandard and in poor repair. The rooms need to be updated. They are dingy, smell old!. Bedding needs to be updated. The current state of this hotel does not reflect the cool, urban Atlanta scene that attracts so many people. Staff were generally polite but made little eye contact with guests. Housekeeping does a great job considering what they have to work with. Not many hello's, how are you today.
Good Location, near the subway. Restaurant available, though a little expensive.
