This 200-year old manor-house built by the Duke of Meckleburg is one of three neo-classical white palaces which overtook a small but idyllic park. All of its stylish rooms retained their inimitable original charm when they were tastefully renovated in the nineties. The two restaurants feature furniture from the Biedermeier period and specialise in seafood and game, all served with superb white and red wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy.
