BCN currently has three terminals: Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal C. However, due to a huge increase in airport traffic since the 1992 Olympics, the airport is in the process of an expansion that will eventually include another terminal and improvements to the infrastructure. Two services that international travelers will find handy here are the currency exchange options and the WiFi capabilities. There are two bank locations where you can exchange money between the hours of 7AM and 11PM. For further convenience, there are also two currency exchange machines. If connecting to the world via your wireless device is a priority, there are 26 locations where you will find access throughout the three terminals, mostly in restaurant or VIP lounge areas. Terminal ATerminal A has two floors. The ground floor is where you can find all check-in points and boarding gates 46-49 and 56-59. The 1st floor, which is for ticketed passengers only, houses gates 40-45 and 50-55. Terminal BThe majority of the guest services are located in Terminal B, as well as the largest variety of restaurants and stores. Many of the restaurants and stores are located on the 1st floor and are available to ticketed passengers only. Boarding for gates 26-29 and 36-39 are on the ground floor, while gates 20-25 and 30-35 are on the 1st floor. Airlines that operate out of Terminal B include: Aebal (Aerolíneas Baleares), Aer Lingus, Air Berlin, Air Europa, Air Plus Comet, Alpi Eagles, Austrian Airlines, Blue Air, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Clickair, Condor Flugdienst, Continental Airways, El-Al, FlyGlobespan, Futura Internacional, Germanwings, Girjet (Gestión Aérea Ejecutiva), Iberia, LTE International Airways, Lufthansa, Meriadiana SpA, SAS, Singapore Airlines, Spanair and Vueling Airlines. Customs and eight baggage claim carousels are on the ground floor while transportation options include rental car companies (ground floor) and buses and taxis that are outside in front of the terminal. Terminal CTerminal C primarily handles Iberia Regional flights and Iberia shuttle service as well as general aviation airlines that include: CN Airlines, Executive Airlines, Gestair, and Inter-Flights. Gates 1-8 and 16-19 are located on the ground floor, and gates 10-15 are on the 1st floor. There are two baggage claim carousels on the ground floor.
