The helpful staff and location made up for the room.
The room smelled but was overall clean.The hotel is at a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and knew enough English to assist us. The bathroom was sufficient and the room smelled of strong cleaner but it was overall clean and adequate.
The staff were very friendly, the location was excellent for anyone who wants to spend time on La Rambla.
The room wasn't very clean, the room we stayed in had a window that opened to an elevator shaft. The shower was borderline disgusting and had little hot water or water pressure.The hotel was in an excellent location close to all the tourist areas in Barcelona. It was warm and inviting, but warm wasn't exactly a good thing. The radiator was on the entire time we were there, outside temperatures were between 70-75 degrees (15-20 celsius) but they were unable to turn the heat off. The room had a window that opened to an elevator shaft and provided no ventilation whatsoever. The booking said the room would have 2 double beds, it had 1 double and 1 twin, not an issue for us, but odd nonetheless.
