Rooms and public spaces have been updated since our last stay.
We were given a room that we were told was non-smoking but it smelled heavily of smoke. Desk Clerk said all rooms were now non smoking but I overheard the same clerk booking a smoking room reservation later that day. What's the truth here?
Clean and quiet...had a good breakfast
Not enough parking, I had to park in cracker barrel parking lot and was not to happy about that
Very clean and staff was friendly. Had decent variety of breakfast too. I traveled solo as a female and felt very comfortable, walls are thin so be prepared for a little noise if your neighbors are loud but it was overall a nice stay.
Fitness center only had 3 cardio machines no weights or strength equipment
The staff is amazing.
Only hard part is the elevator is way out of date and closes really slow and takes forever to open. The hotel is doing an upgrade so lots of stuff in the halls.
We stayed on the first floor it was very good, but when we to the second floor for ice it looked run down and tacky.
it was fine, breakfast good, staff friendly, clean.,
Poor was outside and not open.
The bed was very comfortable.
It wasn't worth the money I paid for the room.
Free Breakfast bar
The Heat and cigarrette smoKe in the halls
Homeless man allowed to sleep on the couch. Elevator did not work. I
It was located where I wanted. Easily access. Not much else good to say
We were on the 4th floor. The evelator was not fully operational. It was loud. No microwave or fridge. That is in most lesser hotels. NO WATER PRESSURE.
smell like cigarette smoke in room
lobby staff was excellent...rooms very clean.
just wish would have have had queen or king size bed...was just full size..rooms were really small..so if was staying for a longer time it would have gotten tight.
For it to be a non smoking hotel it smells like a cigarette.
Clean and located next to Cracker Barrel and other restaurants, which is good since the free breakfast leaves something to be desired. Staff is friendly and hotel is in good condition. Would definitely stay here again.
It was older and outdated. The whole floor smelled like smoke
Pictures online look as if they were taken 20 years ago befor some sort of war and crime spree.
The Front Desk kept checking us out before our check out day. So our rooms did not get cleaned for 2 days. No towels trash not dumped.
I didn't care for anything.
The breakfast wasn't a continental breakfast, the halls and elevators were musty and hot, the room had old furniture, and the bed was hard.
Location of where I needed to be
Wi Fi Sucked, was slower that dial up, actually had to tether off Iphone to get on line for business lecture. Downright terriable
The beds were nice.
The breakfast was bad. Should be categorized as continental breakfast only. Big pets allowed. Boarding workers standing around in halls. Pool closed.
The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean. The stay was very pleasent
Only one of the night time front staff people was friendly. The bed was comfortable.
The lobby and hallways were like a sauna. This is southeast Texas and very hot. They need to have the air on in the public places.
That hotel allowed pets and I am allergic to pet dander and am still having an allergy attack. I am not sure how I can use Priceline in the future because I cannot stay in hotels that allow pets. Please advise.
Convenient to restaurants
Outside traffic was too noisy.
Biggest complaint it took 4 days to get the booking straight. I had to call Priceline twice to get them to get a hold of La Quinta to verify our length of stay.
After staying in another hotel previously, we were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was close to great restaurants and grocery stores too. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again!
Very decent hotel for a very good price. It was clean and hospitable and that is all we needed as we got in late an left early.
Ok Hotel for price expected the pool to be in a little better shape and the hallways and elevator needed ac to be on much higher
This room although inexpensive was a real disappointment. The room was clean, but was obviously wornout and old. The breakfast area was small and crowded. The one good thing was it forced us to leave the hotel and do things in the Houston area.
