tried to get a roll away bed for both rooms and they said no. i had to pay a house keeping attendant to get me one which is all they had.
Musty smell, not a 4 star, rooms are tiny, no room for suitcase or roll away bed even though I indicated 2 adults and one child, they gave us a tiny queen room, they advertise balcony and and then call it a 'step out' but its less than a 1.5 feet deep. This was a total bait and switch hotel, not a 4 star, I don't even think its in Beverly Hills or West Hollywood as advertised and they basically painted everything black and brag about the pool on the roof.
malfunctioning toilets, lack of toiletries, not clean enough, they assign lower grade rooms first. then charge a fee for upgrade, my my upgraded room had lots of issues, including broken flush. A call to housekeeping took 3 hours to fix the issue.Room are pretty small, cabinets are old and tired, no ice machines, not enough toiletries in the rooms, not a four star hotel.
Excellent staff and housekeeping
Bed was a little uncomfortable but that may be subjectiveGreat experience overall. A sleek/modern hotel - may not be ideal for kids.
The friendly, competent staff. The decor was mod and visually amazing in some areas. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasing.
Loved the decor and staff
The smell....it smelled like sewage. Maybe it's a temporary thing, but in the room, elevators and 2nd Floor lounge, there was a definite sewage smell.Rooms are small(at least one we had was), but the decor is great and the location is great. The staff was also unexpectedly friendly for being in Beverly Hills and being a priceline buyer. Haha. We didn't try the restaurants, but we did pop up to the gorgeous rooftop space. Well worth visiting when you are staying at hotel. My major complaint was this sewage smell I couldn't shake. It wasn't as strong right when you walked into lobby, but I picked it up by the elevators, in our room and 2nd floor lounge. I may have an extra sensitive schnoz, but it was annoying. It wasn't overpowering and my boyfriend didn't really smell it, but I kept picking it up.
The hotel downgraded my reservation without notifying me or giving me more reasonable discount.
Great location- walking distance to many excellent restaurants and stores. Pretty neighborhood. The staff was amazingly attentive and nice!
Dark rooms and elevators. Some rooms are quite small and cramped.
