This was a great hotel at a reasonable price. It appears that the room was recently remodeled and the rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast was great for us and our kids. We would definitely stay there again!
The heater was a bit loud but not unreasonable. We stayed in a room that had an adjoining door to another room and we could hear everything going on in the other room. Not sure if that was because it could be used as an adjoining room or if all their walls are that thin.
Room layout was nice, room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful.
No insulation in the walls. Plumbing noises from multiple rooms nearby were loud and conversations from people outside were as loud as if they were in the room itself.
Liked being close to main st. Walk to shops and restaurants. Staff friendly.
Let's start from the beginning; the man at the front desk (I think he was the manager) was very kind when we arrived and allowed us to check in early (he even had the custodial staff clean a room special for us). While the room was small, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were THE BEST pillows we've ever used in a hotel (my fiancé says they're better than the ones at home lol). The shower/tub was nice and had really good water pressure and the hot water came out almost immediately. There was a flat screen TV in the room (probably ~30"), which was nice as well! The fish cleaning station/freezer (not listed on website or, not that I had seen) were very nice! No nasty residue or gunk from inconsiderate fisherman.
The room itself was very small and difficult for the two of us to navigate without banging into each other. The fridge was also VERY small! Like a MINI fridge; probably 2'X2', barely enough to fit more than a six pack...of soda :) The pool and jacuzzi were both dirty; quite a bit of debris in each. The pool was also very cold! It was hot out, but not hot enough to warrant a swim in that ice cold water. There was a female employee that was extemely rude when we had called to get some items for the room. She said we would need to come to the lobby to get the supplies and then hung up abruptly. Really? The other employee was happy to walk the 20' to our door to give us towels. Did not make us very happy.
Good location and comfy beds. Friendly staff.
Bathroom floor and shower were dirty. The carpet was so dirty it turned your feet black!
great location near to Yosemite exit park
Very poor breakfast
Very convenient for our trip between Las Vegas and Yosemite National Park. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was good.
breakfast was very simple
The town of Bishop was conveniently located for our visit to Barstow via Death Valley. The hotel was in the centre of town, convenient for restaurants and shops and the room contained all that was expected.
Perhaps the rooms could be better sound insulated. Noisy residents above our room kept TV on until 03:30.
confortable beds and good wifi
It was a nice, clean hotel with comfortable rooms.
The staff's kindness and the breakfast
I left my laptop there and they immediately phoned me
Late arrival reception
very nice, great value for money
