The low price made it affordable to get a king suite, giving us plenty of room for the two of us and our crawling baby. It was not a fantastic hotel overall, but it exceeded my expectations considering how little we paid. They wouldn't give us more towels until we turned in our used ones, the hair dryer had very little force to it, the free breakfast wasn't much, one of the lamps didn't work, and we had to walk past smoking rooms to get to our nonsmokers room. If I had spent a hundred bucks on our room, I would've been sorely disappointed with our stay. The pool is small, the corridor stank like wet dogs, they wouldn't give us new towels until we turned in our used ones, and the breakfast was nothing to brag about. But when I consider how little they charged us, I admit I will probably stay there again if I ever have to stay in Bonne Terre, and not just because it's the only one in that town that isn't seedy. Clean, conveniently locates, good continental breakfast and pet friendly. If you are staying with a pet I recommend paying the pet fee with cash. Hotel is in a good location. The room was clean and neat. The continental breakfast was very good. The only real issue we had was the pet fee. Due to a 'computer error' we were charged twice for the fee. Management was quick to correct the issue though. If we were to stay here again I would bring cash for the pet fee to avoid this. ... more |
