Quiet station 3 hotel (not at the beach). When reading 'beach resort', we thought it was going to be a resort on the beach, but the hotel is tucked away between other (unfinished) buildings well away from the beach, but in a nice little garden. So it is the perfect spot if you are looking for peace and quiet. You get beach towels and mats though for going to the beach. They work together with Cocoloco bar - and that one is on the beach front (and as Cocoloco guest, you get Happy Hour all day: 1+1 on expensive cocktails) even though they add surcharge on all their prices (very annoying). The picture on the booking platform didn't correspond to our room, but our room (junior suite with window) was big and clean, with wooden decor pieces (a bit improvised), a huge bed, aircon and coffee (but you need to get hot water at reception). The TV didn't work properly, but we didn't want to watch TV anyway. There were only 2 breakfast options (rice, egg, sweet meat) so after 3 days, I had enough of the same thing. But it was ok, served well. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, we had little ants in our bed (I guess it is difficult to keep them out) and they forgot to clear away some leftovers of previous guests, but they corrected it immediately. Station 3 is the more quiet place away from the masses, so perfect if you want more calm. On the other hand, if you want to go to some specific restaurants or shops at D'mall, it is quite a walk (or just get a tricycle). So all in all, our stay was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary.
