The location was safe and convenient, and it was almost well priced for the area. The front desk staff was accommodating and helpful. The shower itself was excellent. I knew the room would be tiny, they did a good job alerting customers to this fact, and it was surprisingly well arranged. They used space well, with a couple of tweaks it would be superb for that size room. A refrigerator and safe in the room would be appreciated, also the console should have drawers in it as storage is at a premium. For daily storage requirements I removed the blankets from the only two drawers in the room and stored them on top of the hanger rack. This made the room liveable for a full week.

Housekeeping slacked off after I left a tip in the middle of the week for requested bedding change. Very disappointing, resulting in no more tips, and I always tip good housekeepers well. 2" bug in the room. Extremely soft mattresses, way too soft. The window was not in it's track when I arrived. It took two days for me to figure out why my room was so loud. I finally fixed that issue, but new windows would block loud street noise and go very far in making this hotel more comfortable to sleep in.

Very cute! Perfect location.

I didn't like that I had to go to the front desk for an iron and that their ironing boards were small. Made getting ready for a wedding a little difficult.

Very stylish.

The whole building and room was very clean with nice, modern amenities.

The front buzzer/keypad system did not work very well. I had to the front desk (offsite in another building) to help get me into the building.

This hotel--well, hostel--is affordable and centrally located.

Checkout is 11:00 am. At 9:30 housekeeping knocked on my door to find out when I was checking out. The same woman knocked again at 10:15, to 'check up' on my departure. I was angered and disappointed by the rush to get me out of the room.

This hostel is located in the South End. It has a wonderful breakfast, that is included with the meal. It is located about five minutes from the Amtrak and MBTA Back Bay Station. Rooms have neither air conditioning, nor a television. There is a ceiling fan, but it is not sufficient on a stifling day. The housekeeping staff can be over-zealous in rushing guests out of their rooms before the 11:00 am check-out time.

Very clean, helpful staff, easy access to public transportation, free wifi

Location was out of the way, no microwave in room

I would consider staying at the Seaport again because of the nice facility and great staff, but location was a negative. Even with public transportation options, I felt like it required too much walking for me and my preschooler. Hotel restaurant was pricey (to be expected), but room service was over the top. $4 for child sized cup of milk (I thought for sure it was going to be a full sized glass) and $5 for one hard cookie when the menu said cookies irritated me. I expected it to cost more for the convenience, but that was ridiculous. It would probably be fine for a couple, but it wasn't very practical with a young child.

Room was nice, beds were comfortable, beautiful location and the restaurant food was also very good.

We were charged for using a bottle of water (we didn't) but they removed it from the bill, minor issue. Some of the younger staff behind the desk seemed less familiar with their hotel services, also minor.

Easily accessible by mbta bus line (Silverway stop) and the location was wonderful. Very nice acommodations!

Great location, well-furnished apartments

Not handicap accessible and no mention of that on the website or in any of the information provided. My room was on the 3rd floor in a building with no elevator. The only interaction I had with staff prior to check out was because I emailed to ask them about a late arrival; did not talk to or hear from anyone else other than that.

This is a small apartment building with several units. There is no hotel staff on premises. I had a decent studio apartment in a neighborhood just a few blocks south of the Hynes convention center. When I got there, I could not get in. I needed to have a keypad entry code for both the front door and my room. I called the property management people, but there was no answer. I left a message, but nobody called back. After about 20 minutes of standing outside, another call did go through. The person I spoke with said that I should have gotten an e-mail with the codes and my room number. He did give me this information, and I did get in. I thought the room was overpriced for what I got, but it was comfortable, and still less expensive than the convention center hotels.

We had a great experience at The Christopher! The room was clean, well furnished, and quiet. Absolutely zero 'hotel noise'; only the garbage truck Friday morning was heard. As advertised, it's close to the Pru and Copley Centers, and to all of downtown for that matter. The South Corridor Park walking trail, half a block away, gets you from Back Bay Station and Copley Square all the way to the Symphony on a quiet, paved urban trail with no traffic! Giaccomo's Restaurant is true Boston Italian and only steps away. The only things preventing a five-star rating were lack of heat controls in room (it was hot on the top floor) and a leaky sink in unit #8. We'll be staying here again to visit our son at Northeastern University.

They were very accommodating and gave us black towels for the removal of makeup.

They've not yet taken the $50.00 pre-authorization charge off my card for the stay and it's been at least 10 business days.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
