The hotel is particularly famous for its spa baths and thermal facilities. They are among the most famous in Hungary. In summer the outdoor baths with sun bathing area and wave machines prove extremely popular with locals. The interior of the baths is very much like a Sanatorium, however well worth visiting. (0707 AHJ) This is a stunning building and is justifiably seen as a historical landmark in the city. Overlooking the Danube river the smooth white stone facade is grand in appearance and has a beautiful art deco entrance. The hotel is located under Gellert Hill on the Buda side of the banks of Danube. This is a very famous area with plenty to do and see nearby.
