Pros:Car was clean
Cons:My flight was delayed over three hours, but I ended up waiting at the airport because the car was due back by 12:45. Had I tried to go explore Kansas City for those three hours, I would have had to pay another day. I really wish there was a policy or something in place that I could extend my rental a few hours in the case of something like this. Even if you just prorated a day, I would gladly pay for it over waiting at the airport. I know that's probably difficult to plan for, but just an idea.
Pros:The staff at the pick up location was friendly. But the staff at the drop off location was rude.
Cons:I rented the car for only one day from Kansas City Airport to Cedar Rapids Airport on 8/30/2019. My rental was $97 and I also paid a pre-paid fee for gas of $35 making my total $133 in total. My account shows budget charged me $300 and an additional $11. Please I need my refund and this to be fixed.
Cons:Was a price I was willing to pay but wasn't able to since they wanted everything and my left testicle for me to take the car. I was using a debit card so I expected to pay a little extra that would be held until I returned the car...It was extra and some more! Then because I was using a debit card I needed to provide a zero balance utility bill as well as proof of insurance. They don't accept third party insurance that you purchase through Kayak or whoever you rent through. Then they called my insurance company, had they been closed or no one there, I wouldn't have been able to take the car until they could verify that it was accurate/up to date.
Pros:we had a great experience, asked for a mid level SUV and was given a Jeep Renegade. The vehicle as clean and everything we asked for. The check in and return went very well without issues. We would consider using Budget again when in KC.

Cons:Car class reserved was not available, an intermediate sedan. The only options available were gas guzzling sports car or mini van.
Pros:Every time I called with what I thought was dumb questions, Megan answered them with a sincerity that made me feel at home. Give that girl a raise and a promotion. She deserves it!

Cons:The reservation information (reservation number, vehicle ID number, etc) this Budget Rental office assigns you is not shared with the national Budget computer system, so if you have to call Budget for any reason the national call center will not be able to bring up your info. Since this office automatically forwards their calls to the national center, this means it’s impossible to get any customer service without driving back to the office and getting in line. It’s a very idiotic system.
Pros:The counter was closed prior to the scheduled closing time. We were unable to pick up our rental under this reservation and had to check nearby counters that were still open to try to find an available rental. The entire fiasco ended up costing us more than double the original reservation. How will we receive compensation for the unacceptable incompetence?
Cons:You could have remained open until your scheduled closing time or at least until our scheduled pickup. We called ahead once the plane was on the ground and no one ever picked up despite it being 15 minutes prior to our reservation.
Pros:Car was new and cheap to rent. Interior was clean
Cons:Car was very dirty, to the point of being difficult to see out the windows. No windshield wiper fluid, which made driving a winter storm risky.
Pros:Turn in of car was fine.
Cons:I was given a key and a space number after check in and both were wrong. The car that fit the key was in a different space and was not what I had reserved. I had to return to the counter and the clerk refused to acknowledge any error and left me standing at the counter.I eventually walked outside again to find her and she had obtained a different car. I had to go back in and redo the paperwork. No apology was ever offered.
