Cons:It's not just Budget, but all the rental car companies have formed a cartel so that you can't pay for a vehicle by ANY method if you have a temporary replacement credit card because your original card was lost, stolen or misused. These companies absolutely, stridently will not accept cash, a cheque, a traveler's check, Paypal, ANY pre-payment or any other form of payment other than a credit card with your name printed on it, at the counter at time of rental. Now, certainly from their point of view, they do not want to release a $US 25,000 vehicle to you too freely. But in America in the dead of night THERE ARE OFTEN NO OTHER TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS AND YOU WILL BE STUCK. Beware.

Pros:Nothing - the car was bad, the service was bad.
Cons:I was scheduled to return my car in Diamond Bar. I wanted to return the car in Montclair. I called Diamond Bar to confirm there would be no extra fees, and they said I was in the clear. I get to Montclair, and they tell me there's a $200 fee to change drop off locations, and that Diamond Bar must have been wrong. Bummer. Oh, and I can't get to the Diamond Bar location in time, so I will be getting charged for an additional day. OH, and Diamond Bar closes at 1pm. By this point it's 1230, so I can't make it there in time. After all this, I wound up getting charged an extra day AND having to pay the fee I was promised I wouldn't have to pay - all because Budget is the worst. In conclusion, I hate Budget and will never rent from this company again.

Cons:The shuttles never came, no one answered their phone.

Cons:The representatives are not helpful at all. They give the agreement without direction where the vehicle located at, then the attendant rudely point the direction with a raise voice " Don't you know where it is?" Very impolite group of employee. Gate attendant takes the agreement without looking at the customer and just throw the paperback at the customer and quickly return to what she was doing with the phone. Very rude manner.

Cons:Extending the rental was only possible at ten times the daily price. Not acceptable.

Pros:After a late-night canceled flight we stayed at the Courtyard Hotel. The Budget office/lot was only 2 blocks. Very easy to walk over and rent a car first thing in the morning.

Cons:the manager was awful. He said he didn't know and I suggested that he check with headquarters. He threatened to cancel my reservation when I asked him to do that because he said I was telling him how to do his job.

Pickup was incredibly frustrating. The gate agent held me for 5 minutes and wouldn’t let me leave without tipping them and then overcharged me for the rental. It’s also confusing why we have to enter our information multiple times to rent, check in, and check out. There should be a more streamlined, efficient process.

Cons:I reserved a car to use on Wednesday before Thanksgiving two days ahead of time. I called Wednesday morning to confirm I would be picking it up around 1. When I arrived to pick it up they told me they did not have any cars and that the soonest they would have them would be 3:30.
