The one option for public transportation to and from the airport is the NFTA-Metro bus system. The Airport-Downtown Express (Route 204) runs every 30 minutes on weekdays from the airport to downtown Buffalo. Cost is $1.75 one way and the service is non-stop. You can also take the following regular bus lines: Route 24 Genesee, Route 30 Kenmore or Route 68 George Urban. Bus stops are outside the lower level arrivals area.

Airport Shuttles

There are many companies that provide airport shuttle service to and from BUF. Rates will vary depending on where you're going and typically you will want to book them in advance. You will most likely be sharing the shuttle with other passengers, so expect stops along the way. Shuttles are also a good alternative for larger groups.

As with any other limousine or executive car service, you'll pay a fixed rate, be greeted at the airport by your driver and taken directly to wherever you wish to go.

Taxi Services

The on-site taxi service for the Buffalo airport is Airport Taxi run by the Independent Taxicab Association. Taxis can be found outside on the lower level arrivals area. Rates vary depending on where in the area you are going. They also provide a downtown hotel shuttle service for $15.00 per person.
