We liked the relaxed style of the hotel and as the weather was very good, being able to eat breakfast outside
We felt that the bathrooms could do with upgrading
Clean, reasonably priced, nice staff, good location for beach
I personally felt the room was for an older person (60+) because of the general decor. However this is a personal preference and not a complaint. The bed was still nice, White sheets etc
nice scenic location, room beautifully furnished, good breakfast for american standards
Expensive for the services offered, no desk or table at all, no shower caps shower device is fixed and not practical
The location is great. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet, and there was ample parking. The bed linens are new and the beds are very comfortable. There is an inviting continental breakfast in the reception area.
We booked a deluxe king ocean view. Upon arrival, we were given a tiny queen room in the back of the complex, with the explanation that the deluxe room overbooked online and we were then assigned this room. After many requests for something else, we were moved to an ocean view suite for our second night's stay. Though the room was bigger and had a magnificent view, both rooms are old and tattered. We felt like we were victims of the bait and switch, with the confirmation of one room and the switch to another. And the rate we paid for the small queen room was the same as our neighbor's large suite. Though we were given a reduced rate on the suite for the second night, and the manager was very helpful, she was not apologetic for what happened
Its greatest attraction is the immediate proximity to the ocean.
it would have been nice to have a hot tub; continental breakfast was okay, but for over $300 a night, I just expected a little bit more --- maybe afternoon cookies or wine and cheese????
Everything was very organised and done in the most friendly manner.
ocean view and great breakfast and delicious cookies in the lobby
It's decor! So quaint. Gardens were great. Breakfast in the lobby is like eating in your own front room- great croissants by the way. Gas fire in the room for any chilly evening - and you can sleep with the window open - ne need for air con, best nights sleep whole vacation. Close to the beach and some great restaurants.
Nope. Loved it will definitely go back.
Free Cookies and FREE Water. ONe block to the beach was the BEST..and you could walk to town to shop......
You couldn't open the window without mosquitos (no screens) flying in......television too small......couldn't black out the room, as the pull down shades didn't shade the window at nite.......strange shower with a little hole you would get stuck in at the end by the shower head.......
