The charming town of Carrollton is loved most for its historic feel and small-town charm. With its close proximity to the University of West Georgia, Quality Inn Carrollton is the perfect destination for visitors to the university. Not only does the nearby university add to the collegiate feel of the town but the oldest bookstore in Georgia, Horton's Book Store, has been in operation downtown since 1892. One of the best amenities at the Quality Inn is the public walking trail located directly behind the hotel. We are located nine miles off of Interstate 20. Pet Accommodation: $20 USD per night and per pet; A maximum of 1 per room.
The management and staff made what was a difficult time for our family instead a time of comfort and healing. We were treated like family. All of our needs were accommodated with such care concern. The availability of a private laundry room was a surprise. I was also pleased to take advantage of the longest, hot showers I have ever had! The handicap room bathroom had a portable shower chair and a handheld sprayer in the tub. Both the double rooms and handicap accessible rooms were spacious and well appointed. I will never stay anywhere else in Carrollton, Ga.
I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference in the city. The front desk was friendly and polite. They were great at giving directions, etc. The staff even took it upon themselves to give me a room that was ''away'' from a group of people in town for their family reunion. That was a pleasant surprise! I had a king size bed and was surprised at just how large it was. In addition to the usual dressers, etc., there was a large desk and chair and an additional large and really comfortable chair with a footstool. I actually wish I could have spent more time enjoying the room instead of being off doing business. LOL!!! It was located in a nice area not far from the expressway at all, so it was really easy to find, and surrounded by lots of great places to eat. There was even an Wal-Mart down the street and a drug store within walking distance. I look forward to staying at the Jameson Inn again in October when I have to visit the city for business. The free breakfast was great too!
THE LODGING WAS CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND THE STAFF GAVE PROMPT ATTENTION TO OUR REQUESTS. OUR ROOM WAS GROUND FLOOR (BY REQUEST) WITH LARGE REFRIGERATOR. WE ATTENDED THE RACE AT TALLADEGA AND WITH THE TIME CHANGE, ARRIVED AT THE RACE AT NEARLY THE SAME TIME WE LEFT THE HOTEL - TIME CHANGES AT THE STATE LINE !!!! THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS LOVELY WITH A LARGE VARIETY OF FOOD TO MEET ANY DIETARY NEED. WE WILL DEFINITELY BOOK HERE AGAIN WHEN WE COME FOR ANOTHER RACE.
This is a small town hotel with all the comforts of some of the 4 star hotels I have stayed in! The staff treated me like I was the only guest they had. They were always eager to give me directions (good directions too) and answer questions about the area. I had a couple of very inportant faxes sent to the hotel and they called me the minute they arrived. The convenience of the internet helped make my trip easier too and get my work finished by deadline. The breakfast was one of the best I have encountered on my many, many travels. I will try other Jameson Inns because of the wonderful experience I had in Carrollton.
I have traveled the Southeast and stayed in a lot of smaller hotels but I have never enjoyed a stay anymore than this one. The staff, rooms, and breakfast were all just GREAT! The rooms were VERY nice and clean, the selection of breakfast foods was one of the best I have seen in a long time. I just can't say enough about the caring staff and their concerns for our trip and happiness. We look forward to our next stay.
The room was ok by motel standards, perhaps I'm just used to staying in higher end hotels, but I found the bathroom rather small, there was no refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker in the room. The only 'extras' in the room were a hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. All in all, I would have rather spent another $20.00 per night and stayed at the Hampton down the street.
This was an awesome hotel. It had clean, comfortable rooms with a new pillow-top mattress. The staff was so helpful about finding a great place to dine. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
very neat hotel and very comfortable. Nice pool.
This was the worst hotel I've ever been in. Our guaranteed for late arrival room was given away, the television didn't work, continental breakfast was gone by 8:30 a.m. and they refused to replenish, the ice machine was broken, we were overcharged for our room in addition to being charged $12.00 per night for a pet.
