General Mitchell International Airport is the largest airport in Wisconsin and is located in Milwaukee. Milwaukee County operates the airport, which offers direct or nonstop flights to 90 destinations. General Mitchell serves twelve airlines offering both domestic and international flights. The airlines served by General Mitchell are Air Canada, AirTrain Airways, American Eagle, Comair, Continental Express, Delta, Frontier, Midwest Airlines, Midwest Connect, Northwest, United Airlines, and US Airways Express. From points north, take I-43S toward Milwaukee. Travel approximately 58 miles on I-43S and take Exit 314B (Howard Avenue). Turn right onto West Howard Avenue. Turn right onto WI-38S and left onto E. Joseph Hutsteiner Drive. Follow signs to airport. From points south, take I-94W to Exit 318 toward General Mitchell International Airport. Take exit toward WI-38 (Remote Parking). Turn left onto WI-38N. Follow signs to General Mitchell International Airport.
