Great downtown location; quiet; great breakfast; room had a nice southwest charm.

Uneven floor; mini steps up and down in the hallway to the room and into the bathroom; had to remember to step up or down. Not an issue with us; however, it might be for other people. Please note that other rooms might not have uneven floors.

Great southwest charm; great staff; would definitely stay here again.

Our wonderful proprietor, Jerry; the beautiful Sky Room; the romance and down-to-earth feel. Unpretentious, beautiful, historically significant, and there's even a lovely English Springer Spaniel on site. Very welcoming.

I can't complain at all, though in such a fine setting, a bath instead of a shower would have been nice for the price.

Gorgeous, tactful Pueblo Revival decor, homey feel, beautiful setting. Jerry was incredibly helpful and welcoming.

Rooms are historic with fireplaces and modern conveniences, grounds beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, breakfasts most creative ever and location out of hustle and hassle of Taos, but quite convenient to historic downtown.

NO

Adobe and Pines exceeds its website description. The welcome and orientation friendly and thorough with great follow-up during stay. Some may not care for going outside to get to public areas for breakfast, but New Mexico weather and historic preservation dictate doing so and is pleasant. The breakfasts are hot, generous and the most creative of any we've experienced in a B&B. Staff is very accommodating about food allergies. The rooms are romantic with fireplaces(wood, starter, matches provided)and also have WiFi, TV,books and updated baths. Grounds are designed and furnished for guests' use and quite beautiful:chairs on porches, hammock,tables/chairs under trees, etc. It is a very good value for the prices charged.

Again, good place and nice staff. But the TVs must be two decades old and the absence of movie channels is like a hotel from the mid-80's.

The most welcoming, friendly and accommodating hotel I've stayed in lately. It is the only Native American owned property in Santa Fe and the ambiance and décor reflects just that. This is my second stay and I'm ready to book next year.

The Hotel Santa Fe bills itself as a luxury hotel...it's prices certainly are!  The room was smaller than I expected (we had a suite) and it was pretty crowded for 3 people.  But worst of all, our room was between the pool and the kitchen...with its extremely noisy dishwasher.  When I complained, they assured me that the noise would stop after 11 pm...but it started back up again early in the morning.  Overall, I was very disappointed in this experience

The hotel overall is very nice, but the service was truly outstanding! The wait staff, the drivers, the cleaners, the spa help...all exceptional! Kudos to them all! Also, I had excellent water pressure in my shower, which is a big deal for me.

The hotel is quite a ways from Santa Fe, which can be nice, but difficult at the same time. However, they do offer shuttle service to and from Santa Fe, so that makes you feel more connected.

The facilities are very nice, especially the spa and gym. The food at the restaurant was really good, as well as the restaurant/bar servers. The room was great, but the walls did seem to be a little thin. I could even hear conversations happening in the rooms around me. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to a friend and return myself.

I really loved the spa-like feel of the place and proximity to the plaza, all the shopping, restaurants, museums, and community activities. The decor - especially the lounge and the pool area have a resort atmosphere and you do feel like you are treating yourself.

I have stayed at other spa resorts. I don't think the Loretto should call itself a "spa" in the title since it doesn't have any sauna, steam room, or similar facilities. When I stay at a spa, I am really looking for those types of facilities. Also, although they were "nice," I didn't feel staff was really game for checking in with guests about their needs. For example, at the pool, there were several groups of guests the day I was enjoying the pool which also happened to be on the weekend of a big fiesta. Guests (including myself) had to go inside to ask for food/bev service and towels were at your own service. If this hotel really wants to be considered a destination for spa travelers, guests shouldn't have to walk into the lounge area in their swimming attire to ask for food/bev service (yes, there is a phone at the pool a guest can use to call the bar for service but it's just as easy at that point to walk 2 more steps into the bar). Food/Bev management, please schedule an extra waitstaff to attend to pool guests on weekends. Thanks! once I did touch base with the bartender, she was very sweet and attentive! oh and also, please offer guests water while they are at the pool especially since many travelers aren't used to the elevation. I enjoyed my stay, thank you.

Came in for a wedding, nice scenery and location was good.

Rooms are horribly outdated and run down. The shower had tiles coming down and the grout work was all decayed and broken. Carpet and furnishings pretty ratty - and no they were not antiques so they cant blame that

I think that the cost per room was excessive, I realize its Santa Fe and everything is pricey. But there are far better options.

We found the Eldorado a wonderful place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was very nice. The location is great. Our only suggestion would be to improve the food. We had the dry aged rib eye. It was tough and tasteless. The previous night we ate in the lounge. The burger was good but the steak tacos were dry and tasteless. Five Stars if not for restaurant food quality. So, stay at the Eldorado but eat at the many wonderful restaurants on the square. Tia Sophia and Blue Corn were both excellent.

There are many good hotels in Santa Fe, but we like El Dorado because of the location, the rooms and service.  Besides the great lounge and restaurant at the hotel, there is a pizza/sandwich place right next door if you want a change of pace.  2-3 blocks away is the Plaza which is just fine for us.  If there is a Fiesta going on, we are far enough away to avoid the noise and congestion, but close enough to walk.  The service is top-notch and they do have flavored ice-water in the lobby to fill up on before you wander the town.  We love this place.

The hosts were wonderful; engaging and personable. They stuck around during breakfast and cocktail hour and had great personal interaction with their guests, calling us by name and being very helpful with suggestions and advice.

The room we stayed in needed a little help; the pocket door to the bathroom stuck badly and needed repair, as did some of the windows which, when opened, ran off their track. There was also some apparent water damage on the wall and floor of one corner.

I would recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone looking for very personable hosts and is ok with a b and b which is a little off the beaten path. The facility itself is a historic building and has many fun and interesting features, as well as private outside entrances to many of the rooms. It is within walking distance to the Plaza but is not on a busy street, so it is quiet and relaxing. The hosts are very engaging, and the grounds are beautiful.

Prices are either the average per night price per room or first night of stay. You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
