The staff and service were exceptional.
Large shower, separate bathtub, bedding
Cable tv went out from time to time. Could not connect to free wireless
Excellent rooms. Up to date and comfortable.
Friendly staff. Spacious bathroom.
Expensive parking. Many hairs on one of the beds as if sheets had not been changed. Hair on cups in the bathroom.
It is very swanky-rooms were a very nice size, bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was done in very good taste.
the only drawback is that you have to drive downtown
Room service knocked and walked in three times before noon check out while we were still sleeping
Large clean and comfortable room.
not much around hotel except health care facilities. Front desk did not know of nearby places to dine. Paid parking across street.
Rooms were beautiful, bathrooms well appointed and location attached to hospital was perfect for our purposes, although there is really nothing to do in theneighborhood. Decent gym, with full circuit of weights, cross trainers, etc.
Furst night we were on an upper floor and heard sirens and helicopters all night (even number room side.) Second night were were on the odd number room side, facing a park and on the 6th floor which was much quieter.
Beautiful rooms, nice staff, overall amazing hotel!!! They changed my room from two double beds to a king!!!
Bellman HAD to take my luggage. $28 for valet parking or $10 across the street per day. I added another day to my reservations and I had to check out and check back in which they charged my account another $150 deposit!
Kuerig coffee make with good coffee; large room and bathroom; excellent on-site restaurant which has even better staff!
No free breakfast - other hotels in IHG offer a free breakfast! No free or reduced-rate parking - I understand the hotel is a for-profit corporation, but considering how much the room costs, the parking fee is totally outrageous.
Clean and bright. Very tastefully decorated.
Double beds instead of queen beds
Very convenient to museum and nearby areas of town. Well maintained property, Overall good experience.
Some places to eat nearby but choices limited.
Wifi not working, bedside lamps not working, not a range of pillows only soft ones, concierge not picking up phone. Staff not clear about wher to park. No cream with coffee only creamer, no tea.
It was a very nice hotel and I got a very good price.
I would not recommend this hotel for leisure travel. I did not feel comfortable dressed in very casual comfort clothes. There was no onsite parking (paid offsite or valet only). There was no entertainment for children (pool, etc).
No smoking outside and I could hear people taking showers all night and no parking unless you want to walk 3/4 of a mile and valet is $24 a day
The staff was courteous, and room service was prompt.
It took assigning me 3 rooms to get one that met my expectations. Unfortunately, even though the room was newly remodeled the heat would not go about 60 degrees. I expected much more.
Front desk staff was rude and stuck up. If you do not have a credit card, they charge your debit card $75 a night extra. They will return the money 7 to 10 days after you check out. The cost of parking was high.
Staff was very nice and helpful with our needs.
Hallway to the room had a funny smell.
This hotel was clean. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful
This hotel will charge your debit card $75 a night for incidentals and it will take 7 to 10 to be refunded after check-out. This information is not disclosed prior to booking. The front desk staff is very rude and stuck up.
I was put in a room that was not cleaned. The communication between front desk and housekeeping was appalling
The room was really nice. Comfy linens, a full-length tub AND a shower.
The staff were rude (see review) and the room wasn't ready as promised.
The check-in was poor. We arrived at 4pm and our room was not ready until a quarter to six. The last day of our stay our room was not cleaned, after the crew promising to come back. There was no compensation of any kind being offered for poor services.
Location was terrible, parking was not free as advertised, carpet was filthy and smelled.
Mold & mildew in shower. Understaffed horribly.
comfort and quality
fee for parking/valet and lack of food options in area (staff declined to inform us that a food curt was available within walking distance; instead telling us that the hotel cafe was the only choice)
Good location. Nice gym.
Front desk. Had to pay to print something. That is free at smaller hotels that are 3 stars.
Nicely appointed, good staff and good location
The beds were way too small -- I will not stay there again because of the small beds.
Poor design of the bathroom. Pedestal sink, no shelves = no where to place toiletries items, not even a place to hang a toiletries bag, which almost everyone travels with. Confusion regarding parking. Bathtub did not drain.
cleanliness and comfort
Was put in a room with 2 double beds rather then 1 king bed
The lobby was gorgeous, staff helpful at all times, and the restaurant had foods that blended fun with flavor, at affordable prices. The purple potato salad, Tandoor BBQ chicken, and grilled corn-on-the-cob made a wonderful summer choice for supper. The view from our room overlooked a green space by the hospital and many poignant scenes. The valet parking was convenient, but expensive--the only drawback to complete satisfaction with this hotel. And location was appreciated--only blocks from cultural destinations.
You have to pay for parking even if you don't use valet parking. It was $10 for overnight parking. The parking structure you have to pay each time you leave. If you are using your car a lot I would recommend using the valet parking. We really liked having a shower and a tub in the bathroom. We got a decent price because it was the weekend after the 4th of July and the hotel was empty.
The front desk, bellmen, valet & restaurant staff were excellent. I changed rooms because first room wasn't as cleaned as I expected. Second room was slighty better. Just were slippers at all times, carpets are flithy! There are no screens and/or locks on the window that can open. I will not stay here again, I will stay at the Ritz and/or the Hyatt when I return to Cleveland.
I stayed for 2 nights due to a family memeber admitted to the Cleveland Clinic. When checking in we were told that their was a $75.00 deposit. I happened to be checking my account and it showed a $150.00 charge. When checking with the front desk, we were told that the $75 is per night! Not a one time fee. I found this obserd. I unstand that is why they keep a credit card on file for 'incidentals'. Another memeber of my family was staying for 6 nights....that added quite a sum to their credit card! This fee is not refundable for 7 to 14 days. When we asked the staff member about this per night deposit fee, we were told 'we should have asked'. This was very dissapointing being such a nice hotel. So beware of this fee!!
My husband and I stayed there for New Year's Eve and it was AWESOME! The staff were kind and the room was awesome. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of variety. Another benefit was the cab service right outside the door. Thanks for a great trip.
The hotel is first rate and convenient to Cleveland Clinic and other Cleveland venues.
Very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff.
