I entered the property with s ankle injury and soft cast. While in shower I held onto hand hold bar and it collapsed and fell apart with large metal peices falling onto my leg creating tremendous pain Unbelieve you would approve a room for rental in that shadow.
Rusty towel bars; unexpected stay in poorly designed handicap access room; unique bar (in old bank vault) closed; ice machines on 4 floors inoperable; laundry chute door left open with no staff anywhere around making us glad we didn't bring our children with us. Will never stay there again.
The hotel structure is exquisite, architecturally. The interior design is timeless with eclectic accents. The two sculpture heads in the lobby are a wonderful surprise. The front desk and room service delivery staff were extremely good and concerned about our happiness,
But the room we had was next to the stairwell and ice machine. All night long the heavy door to the stairwell opened and slammed. The ice maker made noise constantly and we couldn't sleep. We put our room service order form out at 9:30p for breakfast the next morning. The order form was collected and lost by room service. We re-ordered and the food was horrific. Worse, the Starbucks coffee they tout was weak, see-through, and tasted awful.
it was a beautiful historic building-not your typical sheraton. It looked more like a castle than a hotel. The rooms and decor were great I have already recommended it to many friends Lisa Clemons
The staff was very polite. Rooftop bar was amazing. Very nice rooms
