I liked that it is an easy on and off the Xway near dining and shopping.
staff took a long time to come to the desk, had to walk across the driveway to let us into the pool area and then told us the pool heater was broke. It was broke the entire weekend. We chose tis hotel for the large pool. I think it is a sports plex, they need to keep the pool updated and working.
Good location, clean rooms. The staff was generally helpful. I would recommend for a short stay, not extended. Close to the highway and within 10 minutes from Ohio State.
Took a long time to get help from the front desk. Needs some updates.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Not a very attractive location.
Room was decorated nicely
No breakfast. Pool inside closed. Not an attractive location.
Absolutely disgusting had to get a refund. 30'mins after I was checked in. The health club that is advertised is not open and room smelled of urine. Worst experience ever Poorly ran Management does not care about customer service. Got a room at the Sheraton for the same price as this hotel. And it was clean. Indoor pool. Professional service.
the room was large and clean. the temperature was good and the front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. conveniently located.
Very affordable and easy to find.
The key card to the doors didn't work multiple times. Had to have them reprogrammed three times. The first time the employee was condescending and treated me like I couldn't grasp the concept of sliding the card. Not exactly the welcome I expected at 11:30 at night. The bathroom needed a little attention, but nothing that was a deal breaker.
Good bed and clean room
No Breakfast Included Got there at about 3 PM and we were told to come back in "about 1/2 hour" to register. I thought we had reservations and that they should have been able to check us in when we got there.
The price only!no
No indoor pool, outdoor pool not clean, damp musty rooms, sauna not working, beds worn out.
Its an older hotel but still well taken care of, good food at the restaurant and nice health amenities
A little more detail could be taken by the cleaning staff in dusting, linen and towels were well taken care of.
there was not really anything to like
Unfortunately the hotel is really a low end property. I booked it because it was the only place available at the time, but it leaves a lot to be desired. It is non smoking apparently but the whole place and our room smelled like smoke. Also the humidity was really bad and pretty uncomfortable to sleep it. ***There were NO elevators*** this was huge, we had to carry heavy bags up and down stairs... The hotel didn't feel at all "unsafe" just very low grade. If they were charging $50-60/night that would make sense, but it was $120/night so we checked out half way through our stay and went somewhere else.
great motel for price--huge clean pool
had to go outside to reach pool- work out area but well worth it (20 ft)
Clean, nice rooms and great amenities
Didn't get the room I wanted, was supposed to have a king bed but got two doubles
The staff was amazing! Quickest check in and out I have ever experienced with a hotel! Close to everything so that was nice!
The fitness equipment was very used and broken. The only positive from the fitness facility was they had a track on the second floor around the pool.
Service was good. Front desk personnel was helpful and manager didn't haggle with issues.
Smoke from the smoking rooms permeated all the halls to the non-smoking rooms. The furniture and fixtures in the room showed wear and tear. Didn't meet expectations from the star rating and online reviews.
Staff was very friendly. Room extremely clean. Only the coffee maker didn't work and the water pressure in shower was low. Other than that a great room , quiet, well worth the money and the pet friendly was a definite plus!!
The rooms where clean and the staff was friendly
There was rampant drug use (Alot of Pot smoking, in the non-smoking section) I put in for a king size bed, I got two twins (the bed where hard as bricks) and the breakfast bar was terrible. overall it was a pretty bad experience.
worst stay in a motel in my life and I am 58 years old general manager refused to show his face or even call me on the phone to discuss all the problems we had
wors t stay I have ever had in my life in a motel I am 58 years old general manager refused to show his face or return any phone calls to discuss problems I had With front desk employees do not go here
The pool was the best I've ever seen for a hotel. Olympic-sized. Well kept. Also, both concierges were VERY personable, responsive, and as helpful as they could be. And we did get a good price for two rooms.
Generally, it was an old, worn hotel that was probably nice 15 years ago. Clearly, there has also been a demographic shift; not a nice location, though you could tell it once was. Specifically, the entrance to the building itself (at the back, near our room, was NOT secure. You could enter without an access card. That did not feel safe at all. One of our room smelled like cat urine. I kid you not. It was late, so I thought about just going with it. After visiting our second room and going back to it, the smell was just horrid. I don't know how they could offer that as a viable room. Finally (and this is vital), no coffee in the morning. Ugh. Yes, the lame room pot, but both of ours lacked the complimentary condiments. The brochures were all worn as well. It seemed like housekeeping just missed details. P.S. No towels in the pool area; you had to bring them from your room. We will not return to this hotel.
room was clean decent value for money
Asked for non-smoking room room, bedspread and curtains had heavy smell of stale tobacco odor even though it was listed as non-smoking. told mgt. given an air freshener to use in room which did very litte to mask odor.
The front desk employees were very nice and welcoming. The bedsheets and bathroom were clean.
I understand that this has been a snowy one. The parking lot was treacherous and the front entrance was filthy with dirty old rags on floor. I guess at one time it was intended to wipe up mud and melting ice. The same rags were there the next morning. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. I got the impression that this is a welfare hotel. There was a hole in the wall of our adjoining room. I was quite uncomfortable all evening and was honestly worried for my safety and that of my children. (Ages 18, 12 and 10) I would never have let them leave the room by themselves. We were supposed to have stayed two nights but switched hotels after the first night.
