I was expecting a decent hotel, but this one far exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was amazing and so accommodating every time we spoke to them. We had a deliemma getting into the city where we stayed, and this Holiday Inn saved the day.
We loved everything and wished we could have stayed longer. It was fantastic.
The room was not clean and the pool was so cold that our grandchildren could not swim in it.
Everything was fine with our visit. No problems at all. Great place to stay. Hotel is in great shape, very clean and staff was very friendly.
Room was large, refridgerator & microwave were great and lovely bathroom.
Public spaces were CRAZY hot. The staff had propped one of the doors open downstairs, and it was a scorching weekend so that just made everything hotter.
This hotel was great!! The location was right off the freeway, easy on easy off. We had two rooms booked, and had arrived several hours early. The front desk made a couple of calls to housekeeping, and we were able to check in a couple hours early.
There was nothing that we did not like.
location - close to downtown Columbus but free parking and not the drama of downtown.Close to movie theatre and other stores.Easy to get around
Good breakfast. King bed very comfortable.
Queen bed not comfortable. One morning no hot water.
The staff was VERY kind and gave a very late checkout when I needed it.
Not the best location for where I was going, but not too far. It was close to everything I needed in terms of meals, and that was helpful.
Great room, free Wi-fi, easy access to local restaurants and services, free breakfast.
There was a local power outage and they did not have a back up generator to operate the elevator or more importantly, the phone system. There was no way to reach the front desk, nor did they attempt to inform the guests of what was happening by knocking.
Clean, zippy modern decor/design, nice people, clean, great breakfast area...no big thrills but what do you need w/ Holiday Inn Express?
VERY CLEAN FRIENDLY PERSONAL NICE BREAKFAST
Cleanliness. Unruly guests.
Very good and friendly staff--Best I've experienced in several years
When we entered the lobby there was an immediate sewer smell. Staff said it comes and goes all of the time and didn't know where it came from. Not a great first impression. Breakfast buffet was good but staff couldn't keep buffet refilled or cleaned up.
Fairly new. Nice room and reception area
Air conditioner sounded like a 3 alarm fire when the fan came on. Faucet in bathroom had too much water pressure and it splashed you and the surroundings.
Hotel qualities were overshadowed by the guest behavior that was permitted.
Hotel was overrun with a large group that abused every public space. In the parking lot they set up grills, group games, and blocked parking spaces with lawn chairs. In interior public spaces they sat on the floor having indoor picnics.
Live close by and wanted to take the kids swimming. The pool was extremely cold and was just a waste of our time and money.
The pool was dirty, there was only one person checking in on a Saturday that like to talk even though the place was sold out and many people were waiting to check in, our air conditioner was broken , and lastly the shower water had a nasty smell.
Breakfast got old after a few days. We stayed here for 10 nights and there was little variation. During our stay cold cereal disappeared completely as an option; basically leaving only scrambled eggs (which had been sitting there since earlier in the morning and were hard and dried out) as the main offering. All the danish offering were very dry and hard as well. Otherwise the hotel was a good value for the prices we got on priceline.
Not business traveler friendly
It was a very comfortable room, and I really enjoyed the free internet and breakfast buffet. Staff was also very accommodating and allowed me to switch rooms when I had an issue with the shower.
When I checked in, the pool was out of order. Also, I would have appreciated more variety with the breakfast buffet; the muffins and pastries offered were stale, and the milk sour, and there was no orange juice.
two days no breakfast available ,but it was the holiday
Fridge and microwave in the room.
They ran out of pillows.
Front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. A/C was quiet and consistent.... No free breakfast but TimHorton's was just up the street.
