The hiotel is very well lcoated, minutes away from Tivoli Garden and the central station. It's clean, with very pretty rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, in a big, bright room. It also has a very welcoming reception, where you can sit and relax while planning your day or waiting for your friends to get ready.
The wifi signal in the bedrooms was weak. At night, the area is a bit noisy and in the middle of the red light district.
It was a nice room, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast, and convenient location.
We stayed in the annex, Absalon City Hotel's cheap section. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to everything in Copenhagen, especially Tivoli Gardens.
Part of staying in the annex is shared bathroom facilities - the only downside. However, this is what you pay for in the cheaper lodging in the annex, so it's definitely a good value.
The staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel was very pretty. My room was small and expensive, but reasonable compared to most places in Copenhagen.
My room didn't come with a breakfast. It's not a big thing, I'm just saying.
Clean, comfy, nice rooms. Good location, right near main metro but in a quiet area.
They put us in the Annex rather than the Hotel-- so shared bathrooms and shared shower for 20 rooms (instead of the hotel's usual private bathroom). We had booked via kayak for 'hotel' at their lowest room price ($96), but there was no mention in the booking that it was just for the Annex, so I felt downgraded without notification-- the price was a bit high for a hostel (but not totally unreasonable-- the place is very nice). The Annex is more like a Hostel and was fine for 1 night, but probably not useful for folks who want their own bathroom.
The location was great, along with the lobby and staff.
Nowhere on the website did I find pictures of the part of the hotel where I stayed. Different rooms.
breakfast was very nice, location close to centre of city, internet access
rooms very small, noise from courtyard at night, unsavory activities in vacinity of hotel
Ideal central location re: railway station and Tivoli.
Not so pleasant neighborhood: red light district
very helpful staff
