They did not have the car that I reserved. Also added additional fees at the pickup. They offered to take me to the hotel and deliver the car the next day, but we had already booked a tour that we needed the car for and honestly I didn’t trust them.2.0 Poor

We arrived at Alamo and they did not have a vehicle for us. They said Kayak did not confirm whether Alamo had cars available. It was the worst car rental experience I have ever had.Cons:

Kayak shouldn't be booking car rentals when they've been warned by Alamo that they have no rental's. I had to pay triple the cost to secure a car in Cozumel for a week because of Kayaks failure.Avis

Cons:
I bought the insurance online when I reserved the car but when I went to pick up the car the employee said the insurance I bought online was worthless. He said I need to buy insurance from him or I wouldn't have any, or very little liability coverage. I didn't appreciate having to buy insurance twice.Budget

Pros:
The local operation is a scam The insurance was 3x the cost of the online rental ,and changed 4x ln a five minute conversation. We walked back to the airport with all of our luggage and rented from Hertz.8.8 Very good

Cons:
The insurance was triple the rate for the car so we paid a lot more than anticipated. The car was not clean and even after we cleaned the windshield, it was covered with a haze and very difficult to see through at night.8.0 Very good

Pros:
I think all cars are newer now so you should get a good one. Price with minimal insurance is about $210 USD for a week. Don't think you get the price on the web cause you must add $17.00 per day insurance and this is not complete insurance! Always book exactly the car you want like size and transmission as they will not upgrade unless they charge a huge amount. Also don't hit the tires against the curb or they charge fir damage...the slightest tiny ding or scratch is mega money. If you get a ding have it fixed before you take it back and you'll save hundreds as body work is cheap if dine by you vs. them. They are along with their sister company Dollar the best on the island I think.10.0 Wonderful
