nice clean room, freindly staff, breakfast was amazing
Nothing! Very very basic hotel could not use the bathroom sink plug broken after running the water to clean my teeth had to leave water in the sink still there next morning. No controls fo the tv / travel hairdryer only worked on cold / Broken lights in bathroom and bedroom Towels provided by hotel smelled/ The only good thing was the sheets were clean but still had a funny smell The only good thing was the lady receptionist on check in helped me with directions to hotel when I arrived by train and was alos pleasant on check in. The male receptionist in the moring reading a newspaper could not be bothered to hear about the problem I had with the bathroom sink in fact did not speak!
Every thing could not wait to leave
Inexpensive overnight stop, prior to a morning flight from Gatwick Airport. The Grange is in Crawley town centre, only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Regular trains only take 6 minutes to get to Gatwick Airport. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff helpful, and breakfast is available at extra cost. We arrived mid-afternoon, and were able to have a good walkround Crawley town centre, and later had a couple of drinks and and our evening meal in the Railway Pub practically across the road from the hotel. The Railway is really good value
Nothing. Extremely handy for Gatwick.
I did book a twin room but got a double room and the hair dryer was not good.
being close to shopping centre and restaurants.and staff people were very helpful when we needed help
lighting a bit dull in room and bed a bit hard
10 minutes to Gatwick Airport, 35 minutes to London Victoria, by train.
Thuggish reception staff were curt and not particularly helpful.
Quick service and in house East Indian restaurant.
Convenient to town centre.
Last breakfast at 9.am. is far too early. Had to ask for extra pillow (only 1 pillow each supplied - very flat) and hairdryer
it was very local to Crawley Town centre to be able to walk in five or so minutes.
No noise dampening in the hallways and walls. decor is ok but curtains are not pt up properly and it shows the who cares attitude. Shower cubicles are small and water pressure weak in the shower ( no bath at all)
price, good parking, central location.
lack of clothes hooks in bathroom, only i pillow each although they did provide 2 more, no glasses for drinking water
