The hotel looked like it needed some work.We would not recommend this location to anyone. My kids saw some bugs on the floor and the overall facility seemed dirty.
Used wash cloth on shower head. Yuk. Smokers outside door of room. Pool filthy. Breakfast substandard. Used Priceline to negotiate, no wonder. Price at check-out for room was $2 less than negotiated Priceline price. Big RIPOFF!!!!!
Outside access , a motel. I don't stay at motels, not as secure.
They had an outdoor grill and deck.
Phone system did not work. Coffee brewer in the room did not have a pot to brew the coffee. Not worth the price, even on priceline.
It was an average room space to strech and relax and sleep.
Good location for north central Alabama. The room actually exceeded my expectations for a 2-star hotel (but mine were pretty low to begin with). The beds and the shower were excellent, but the cable options were limited...and the toilet was horrible.
Not really. Once I was assigned a hotel, I read all of the reviews...so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect.Low Expectations...This was the first time that I had booked a hotel on Priceline where I only had two options for the star ratings. Typically whenever I travel, I don't look for hotels that are rated under 3 stars...but for the Cullman area, I didn't have a choice. It was either 1 or 2 stars (hence the low expectations).Once a hotel had been chosen for me, I read all of the reviews for the Best Western in Cullman...just so I wouldn't be surprised by anything. I noticed that this hotel was the creepy kind with outside doors leading right into the rooms. Right away, I thought of the movie ...
bed was comfortable
had remodeled bathroom with drop ceiling, you could see expsoed wires from previous lights & bathroom fan...very tacky. bath/shower did not drain properly.Had crown molding just to cover up cracks.staff gave me wrong direction
