good location. easy to walk just about anything downtown.
did not like the lighting in the room. Too cold looking with cfl bulbs.
A good, clean, well presented hotel and we appreciated the complete chinaware, cutlery etc offered in the suite. The room service hamburger was a good size and service was prompt.
The decor is a bit Spartan and sterile. There are plenty of blank walls which could be spruced up with a bit more artwork, especially given Darwin's reputation for brilliant Aboriginal art. It seems there is also plenty of advertising space which the hotel could, perhaps, sell to generate more revenue. Adding Bircher muesli (my favourite) to the breakfast menu would be a plus.
Location is perfect for walking around Darwin. Spotless throughout and has a very reasonably priced cafe for breakfast and lunch. Would stay there again.
did not have a business centre for internet use if you did not have your own lap-top.
no fuss the hotel just went about it's business in a professional way
our room had good reading lights at bed and desk, the bed was very comfortable, the furniture modern and well kept, the bathroom convenient, the laundry user friendly, the staff very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was outstanding in quality. the location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing the cbd and harbourside of Darwin.
the central position of the hotel to the city, restaurants and entertainment of Darwin
I had to leave early to travel to work place and asked if I could use the extra night paid at a later time and was refused... told I needed to give 48 hr notice... I only made the original booking the day before and had no way or control over the circumstances...
