Pros:I liked that we got to leave
Cons:The elevators were broken, so here, carry your bags up five floors. The water in the shower was rusty There was no hear. The room was freezing cold. Freezing. The light in the bathroom was broken. The mattresses were awful. The beds are full size not queen. The whole hotel felt like The Shining. Terrifying atmosphere. Totally deserted. Icky.
Pros:The shower was hot. The location and staff were good.
Cons:Know they are looking at renovations, but it is past time to fix the hotel. The A/C didn't work throughout the building, and it was a sauna in the room. Had to open the windows on one of the hottest days of the year to 'cool' the room down. They offered refunds, and acknowledge the problem, but they should've called in advance. Also, parts of the ceiling were falling off. It's a beautiful building, it needs a major facelift and could be great.
Pros:The hotel had great paneling and was an impressive historic building.
Cons:No one told me there was no air conditioning in the entire hotel. I visited during the hot/humid summer and it was excruciating.
Pros:Convenient downtown location
Cons:The building was built 100 years ago, and the carpet and paint appear to be original. There is one central air conditioning unit for the entire building so summer is an especially bad time to stay here. Front desk staff barely looked up from her TV show during checkiin. I predict this hotel will be closed by fall.

Cons:No free shuttle service ad listed since they had to cut back on staff, room was dirty and only cleaned daily if requested, lazy staff and no amenities. Most things c!osed down for remodel in September.
Pros:The hotel looks very nice from the outside. Multiple restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
Cons:The rooms and hallways have not been remodeled for many years/decades. Everything in the room just seemed old but not in an antique way. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not.

Cons:heater in room wasnt very warm, blankets were goood ;)
Pros:Rooms need badly updated. I like the old decor of the building in the lobby, but the rooms haven't been updated since it opened.
