The ibis Dinant hotel is situated in the heart of this Belgian town, the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, who invented the saxophone. Close to the old town, the hotel is on the banks of the La Meuse river, just a stone's throw from restaurants, bars, shops and the Dinant casino. The hotel has 59 air-conditioned rooms, a bar that serves snacks 24 hours a day, and WIFI access for business guests. There is a public car park just 55 yards (50 m) away from the hotel.
Location overlooking River Meuse, proximity to town centre, easy to find, excellent parking facility adjacent to hotel
We were in rooms 20 and 22, good rooms but they (and the corridor0 had a continuous, 24h, quite loud hum, about 50Hz, probabably caused by the lift electrics and which may indicate a fault or potential fault. My wife found it difficulkt to sleep. Unfortunate, because otherwise the hotel was super.
bar area, terrace, location ,staff
reception of the guests was quite friendly
compared to other hotels, the breakfast was a bit too expensive
