Car RentalThe Rental Car Center is located in the Cypress garage and houses twelve rental car companies from which you can choose: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Continental, Dollar, Enterprise, E-Z Rent-a-car, Hertz, National, Payless, Royal and Thrifty. There are free shuttles outside of baggage claim at Terminals 2, 3 and 4 that will take you to the Rental Car Center. Public/Ground TransferThere are two options for public transportation to and from FLL: BCT (Broward County Transit) buses and the Tri-Rail commuter train. Bus stops for both BCT buses and buses that go to the Tri-Rail are at the west end of Terminal 1, between Terminals 2 and 3, and between Terminals 3 and 4. The BCT bus fare is $1 for one trip while the Tri-Rail rates depend on how far you go. Though cheap, public transportation is not the most convenient option for getting around the Fort Lauderdale area. Airport ShuttlesAirport shuttles are a very convenient and affordable option to get you to your destination. One such company, Tri-County Airport Express, has customer service reps outside baggage claim at each of the terminals. Shuttle services can be booked in advance or at the airport, operate on a fixed rate and can be arranged as shared rides with other passengers or as private shuttles. This is a good option if you have a large group. Limousine ServicesIf you're looking for a more luxurious ride to and from the airport, there are many limousine or executive car services. As with any other limousine service, you'll pay a fixed rate, be greeted at the airport by your driver and taken directly to wherever you wish to go. Taxi ServicesYellow Cab taxis are located outside the baggage claim area of every terminal. Rates vary depending on where you need to go, but there is a rate chart at the Transportation Podium where you can check in to get the next available taxi.
