The staff was beyond excellent. I will definitely go back. The breakfast was better than any hotel I've stayed in. Delicious. Beautiful dining room
The wifi signal in our room was fairly weak but usable. The manager kindly offered to put us in a different room but it wasn't necessary.I totally recommend this hotel. The best one we've ever stayed in.
Very good breakfast fare with excellent service
It had a very minor old smell
it was quiet. good bed, property was freshly redone. Good breakfast buffet, actually had hot items, bacon, sausage, eggs and actually had a cook making stuff. I was impressed by the breakfast, it is the best part of the hotel.
got stuck in a smoking room.I really wouldn't rate this a 3, other then the breakfast bar made up for whatever else may have been lacking. Overall a good value, would stay again if in the area.
The room smelled so heavily of some sort of cleaning agent that it gave me a headache, there were ants in the bathroom and the worst part was the bed, it was horrible. I have never been more uncomfortable. I eventually slept in the chair. Terrible stay!We had been driving for 10 straight hours on this date as we were caught in the 'Polar Vortex' out of Indiana and had to traverse the state that day in awful conditions. We were unable to get a room in Chillicothe on our route home, so drove even further to get to Gallipolis. I bid on the 2 1/2 star hotel in that area (Hampton Inn) because it had better reviews. Priceline accepted my bid, but bumped us up to the only other hotel in the area, this crappy hotel I am writing about. This hotel is listed as a 3 start for amenities, but it is absolutely not up to par with what one would expect in a 3 star hotel. Plus, we specifically didn't bid on the 3 star in Gallipolis, because we didn't w...
room size was good.
Our rooms warm/cold temp. was broken. If heat was on the room got too hot, couldn't reduce temp unless I turned it off or fan on. During the night I got up to turn the heat off and fan on to regulate the temp.Except for the heating/cooling system everything else about the room and hotel was good. The free breakfast was the fanciest I've ever seen... real dinnerware, cloth napkins, lots of hot foods to choose from, felt like we were at a restaurant. I would stay at this hotel again.
If you want a big breakfast, this is the hotel for you! Bacon, scrambled eggs, quiche, melon ... and a lot that I didn't have. Don't think I've ever seen this substantial a breakfast included at no extra charge.
The rooms are rather drab, and the chairs seemed stained and dirty. No special outlets for electronic devices, though wireless worked fine.
The location, the hotel seems 'beat up,' the rooms need a cleaning and an update.I booked this room from the Express Deals as it was billed as a 3-Star hotel. I would rate this hotel at a 2-Star rating at best. I was very disappointed and will not be staying at this facility in the future.
