Pros:Loved how rustic and quiet the resort was but still so close to everything in Gatlinburg. The pool was an amazing feature and if we were there during the winter definitely would have used the wood burning fireplace. Loved that the back patio faced the big creek too.
Cons:Only knock on the place was the A/C unit didn't work super well and the bed wasn't the most comfortable I've been on.

Pros:hat I liked about brookside was the location. It was right across the street from flapjacks and walking distance from the strip! Great location without being too congested. I liked the rolling creek right outside of back door it was very nice. I liked that they had free breakfast although it was very basic and minimal, the oatmeal was very dry. Staff was nice, not too friendly at times. I walked in to check out and the front desk guy just ignored me and sat on his phone until I was helped by someone else. They also charged my credit card twice but did refund it immediately.
Cons:I did not like that fact that on their website it has a lot of false advertisment. They said they had high speed Wi-fi, it was so slow and wouldn't load anything we had to disconnect and use data. They also said that they have a state of the arch fitness center.. Far from it. It literally had nothing and was very old and run down. The room needed renovations and mens toilet didn't work. The bench press didn't even have a bar!? Overall it was a quick stay so for 3 days what they offered was enough. Although I think next time we will find something nicer and cleaner and more up to date. Overall it was clean but very outdated. The room looked old and the furniture too. Found a few hairs on the sheets..The sheets would not stay on the bed either! I had to readjust them many times.There was a huge rip in the bed skirt. There were no blankets in the room just the sheets that came on the bed.. The shower head was so low that it would be great for someone who was 4 foot tall. We had to squat to shower and that's not fun for my 6' 2 boyfriend and me being 5'5. There was no DVD player so headed up if you brought DVD s. We had to go buy one to hook up. There as a mini refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker so that was nice.

Pros:The Staff was excellent. The rooms were very clean and accommodating. It was peaceful to walk out the back door of our room to the balcony to listen to the stream. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, the variety of items will fill even the hungriest of appetites. They have lots of amenities at their resort. I would recommend this resort to everyone..
Cons:I wouldn't have anything that is negative about this resort.

Pros:Crystal at the front desk was so nice. The room was so spacious and was much nicer than anything we could have expected. This place definitely deserves a higher rating than is shown here.

Pros:I really like that the fact the room had a fire place, room was clean, and it's mins drive from gatlenburg.
Cons:I didn't like that when I walked in. The room was 20 degrees. It took quite a while to warm up. But it finally did and I was comfortable. Would stay again.

Pros:Brookside Resort has a good location but that is about the extent of what I consider a recommendation. The room was very dated....the sheets were dirty and the bathroom is dark. Requested clean sheets which were delivered promptly. The stream behind the hotel was awesome. This could be a really nice place but it will take a large sum of money for this to happen.

Pros:The room was nice, the bed comfortable, clean room, quiet. Trolley stop in front of motel, had good breakfast room and nice amenities.
Cons:The only problem we had was the microwave, there was something wrong with it and it would burn up anything you put in it in just a few seconds. I reported it to the staff and they said they would take care of it quickly. Had a great stay.
