Pros:It was terrible.. This place is a 1 star at best.
Cons:Bed was to small, AC didn't work in room. Joint entry door with next room was like they were in my room! Just not a good stay
Pros:Spacious room, nice towels
Cons:They turn off the air conditioner at night because they expect you to open your windows to the "cooler" air. The place is next to a port operating 24/7 loading and unloading cruise ships. Extremely noisy and bright lights all night. The windows are approximately 6ft long by 4 ft wide and you have to open the whole window. There were gale force winds coming in and blowing everything around. So there was either no air circulation with the windows closed or a wind tunnel with them open. The beds were too firm for our liking. Not a place to get a good night's rest.
Pros:A gorgeous view overseeing Genoa. It's close to the port - and it's actually one of the cleanest ports I've seen in my life. Extremely professional staff and a decent breakfast by continental standards. I would highly recommend this, particularly if you are going to the ferry the next day.
Cons:It was on the far side of the harbor. It was on the industrial western side. Most of the historic sites were on the eastern side.
