The location was okay, a bit outside of downtown with some unexpected hills to walk up. Breakfast was great, and the room itself was clean and spacious.
When we arrived, the lady who greeted us seemed a bit brusque; not the friendliest of welcomes. The bathroom was incredibly small, and it was hard to even get into the shower. I also thought it was odd that we had to surrender our keys each time we left the hotel...we then had to ring the bell and retrieve them from a member of staff when we returned in the evening.
Nice stay, Good heating, Very nice breakfast, 24hrs reception, Tea/coffee facility, tv, enough cupboards inside the room, towel and soap was available.
Internet was not get connected, very congested, wash basin hot water was not available(may be have to wait more time), Main station was 20+ min walking and tube was 10 min walking through some steep roads.
Easy to book online
Room was cold and depressing. The room was poorly maintained (edges on the table was chipped, sealant around the sink/shower has patches of blackish mold. There was no heating in the shower. The bedclothes appeared slept in - hairs found on the sheet. While waiting in the dining room, a dirty shoe was observed in the corner of the room. The coffee dispensing machine was "dirty" - marks on the sides, spills on the base.
Staff was very helpful
Phones from room to room were not always working. One day we wanted to return early in the day and were told that there would be someone there 24 hours. At 10:30 in the morning there was no one to open the door or give us a key.
Situated in a good area close to Sauchiehall Street.
No lift to top floor for the eldery or disabled. No one available when checking out.
