The Groveland Hotel is located in Groveland, California on historic Highway 120, the most direct route to Yosemite from the San Francisco Bay area. This Country Inn is located just 23 miles from the main gate of Yosemite National Park. Today this landmark hotel and restaurant have been fully restored to standards that have to be seen (and tasted) to be truly appreciated! Using 21st century technology, owners Grover and Peggy Mosley invite you to explore and learn more about what Country Inns Magazine rates as one of the Top 10 Inns in the United States. Each of the distinctively decorated rooms includes private bath, luxurious bathrobes, European antiques, down comforters and feather beds. Visitors from abroad tell the innkeepers the Old World atmosphere reminds them of home. Guests are served our Innkeeper Breakfast Buffet featuring a selection of baked goods, hot and cold cereals, waffles, ham and cheese omelets, coissant sandwiches, freshly ground coffee, Tao teas, juices and fruits. Most rooms have queen beds and full baths and in-room coffee and tea service. Suites come complete with spa tub and fireplace. Some rooms have television. This Country Inn boasts an awarding winning dining room and wine list for your enjoyment as well as a full service saloon.
