Garage P4 is the farthest away with P5 about half way between the terminals and P4, so this shuttle should come in very handy to many passengers. Garages P1, P2, and P3 are close to both terminals. Long Term ParkingAll five parking garages can handle long-term parking, but the prices vary depending on the garage selected. Garages closest to the International Terminal are most expensive, but considerably more convenient. The Lomaparkki Garages (P3, P4, and P5) are better for long term. Garage P4 is the farthest from the International Terminal with a fifteen minute walk. It is not covered and cars are exposed to inclement weather. The parking rates in this garage are 32€ (Approximately $44) for one week (7 to 8 days). Garage P5 is the second least expensive at 46€ (Approximately $66) for the full week. P5 requires a ten minute walk to reach the terminals. P3 is the remaining Lomaparkki Garage. Weekly rates in this garage are 49€ (Approximately $68). Discount Airport ParkingGarage P4 offers the lowest rates in all of the airport garages. Passengers pay 1€ ($1.37 on July 2007) for every 20 minutes the car is in the garage or lot. There is an 8€ (Approximately $11) maximum in Garage P4. This lot is open and requires passengers to walk for fifteen minutes to reach the International Terminal. A free shuttle does circle the airport frequently for those parking in the distant garages. Handicapped ParkingIf passengers need wheelchairs, the airport suggests calling ahead to ensure that they are set to meet passengers in a predetermined area. There are handicapped parking spaces in garage P2, P3, and P5. Disabled travelers park free of charge in the airport's handicapped spaces. Drivers should bring proof of disability to the garage service desk in the International Terminal. Those needing short-term handicapped parking can park for no more than two hours in the garage in front of the International Terminal. Airport Hotel ParkingA free shuttle takes passengers to and from the six area hotels. The shuttle leaves every twenty minutes from Platform 11 in front of the International Terminal and from Platform 9 in front of the Domestic Terminal. Hotels served by this free shuttle include Bonus Inn Airport Hotel, Comfort Hotel Pilotti, Cumulus Airport Hotel, Holiday Inn Garden Court, Ramada Hotel Airport, Scandic Hotel Gateway, and Sokos Hotel Vantaa.
