The staff was very friendly, the wake up call was right on time, and the rooms were clean.
Nope.I hate spending a lot of money for hotels/ motels. I look for a place that will serve its purpose; sleep. For xxx I know that I'm not staying at the Ritz and don't expect too much other than a warm bed and a locking door. Well that's what I got here. The motel was conveniently located, that staff was friendly and they gave me a wake up call. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. For xxx, I got way more than what I paid for. Would definitely stay here again.

The problems I had were as follows: the dead bolt was broken, the fridge was broken, the wifi connection was poor, HBO was not available despite advertising such, the water had to run 10 minutes before it was warm, and there was a business sharing parkingThis was a cheap motel, but with the other options in the area at comparatively low prices I will never return to The Royal Inn motel. It should have been ranked one star for the lack of privacy, the amount of things broken, and the lack of service outside of housekeeping entering without knocking. Having to bar my door with a broken chair at night, because the deadbolt was broke, left me with a sense of unease. It was a terrible experience. I also had to manuever around vehicles parked at the 'We buy gold' business on the motel grounds. I understand you get what you pay for, but for an extra 2 dollars a night I could have stayed at any of four other motels in the are...
