Houston Hobby Airport is associated with the Houston Airport System, which is the fourth largest airport system in the United States. Located seven miles from Downtown Houston, Houston Hobby airport serves U.S destinations and seven airlines operate at the airport. These include Southwest Airlines, AirTran, American Airlines, American Eagle, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Jet Blue Airways. Houston Hobby is the largest hub for Southwest Airlines.

Houston Hobby Airport features one Main Terminal, Central Lobby, and Central Concourse. All flight arrivals and departures occur in the Central Concourse. Previously, the airport had three additional passenger concourses: A, B, and C. Concourse B was demolished in 2005. Concourse A and C closed in May 2007.

The Central Lobby offers several convenient amenities such as currency exchange booth, banking services, newsstand, wireless Internet, designated smoking area, and more than a dozen restaurants. Airport amenities are located within close proximity to the Central Concourse, which makes navigating Houston Hobby easy or hassle-free. In-between flights, passengers may relax in the food court, access the Internet, or browse the retail shops.

Main Terminal

Houston Hobby Airport has one Main Terminal, Central Lobby, and Central Concourse. The Main Terminal contains Airport Information Center, Houston Police Office, baggage claim, drop-off and pick-up zones, car rental booths, ground transportation, banking services, currency exchange booth, and ticket counters. Curb zones are located outside baggage claim. The Central Lobby is located on the upper level and contains food and beverage establishments, security checkpoints, and retail shops. The Central Concourse is located on the upper level and contains gates for all seven airlines.
